While visiting town for a wedding, I was at another establishment that referred me to The Green Room saying it was a 'prohibition style speakeasy' and a 'whisky bar.'
Once I arrived, I struggled to find the connection between The Green Room and any speakeasy I've been to. The door is well marked on a side street, the walls are straight painted drywall, and the décor, nothing prohibition style. It was nice and welcoming, but not what i expected.
The bar... they did have a fairly good whisky menu. In addition, the bartenders were friendly to talk to and we're willing to chat a little and come up with a creative, crafty cocktail to suite the occasion.
Although not prohibition or speakeasy in my book, this was still a great place for a cocktail that anyone reading this...
