USED TO BE A 4 STAR PLACE Location Specific Review, does not apply to all Noodles & Co.
So here's what happened: I used to live in Glenview, by Glenbrook South. For about 8 years, I frequented this Noodles & Company. During those 8 years, the staff was kind and the food quality was much better. But time passed and people moved on with their lives. Before I knew it, almost everyone there was a new face. Back then, they had sandwiches on their menu. They also used to wrap silverware in napkins and bring them out to you with your food. I remember getting a Philly Cheesesteak-type sandwich with a bowl of tomato bisque. Oh woe is me, this no longer exists.
Fast forward to now: As of mid to late 2017, I moved to Twin Lakes, Wisconsin to be with my girlfriend. We really only come to Glenview about two to four times a month to visit family and friends, and we don't usually eat out when we're here. Since the move, we've only eaten at Noodles & Company twice-and let me tell you, we probably won't go there unless it's me reminiscing.
The Differences: The silverware and napkins are located over by the soda fountain, not wrapped up and brought with your food. The serving sizes have been reduced I THINK. There used to be three bowl sizes: small, regular, large. Well there isn't a large bowl anymore, just small and regular; and I can't tell if the new small is the old regular, it may have stayed the same. But I also can't tell if the new regular is the old large, or also just the same. Either way, I was dissatisfied with the serving size. The food quality has dropped. I ordered a Pesto-Cavatappi with extra mushrooms and I squeezed a boatload of lemon juice on it, like I always used to. Didn't taste the same. I ended up adding some OFFBRAND SRIRACHA because that's what they have now. My girlfriend ordered the Steak Stroganof, it was alright. My now-vegetarian friend ordered a Pad Thai and was dissatisfied off the bat. He stated, "Definitely not worth the 10 bucks." He ate three quarters and took the rest home. I don't know if he ever ate it, maybe his family did.
Takeaway: Go there at your own risk. Be prepared to pay an exaggerated price for a meal you may not be satisfied with. Food can be better, and quality may improve since the time of writing this review. I will also post further reviews on this place as I visit it and state the differences...
Read moreI love this place! Noodles & Company is the best! Super quick and easy to order! I ordered their regular soup and Korean beef. The flavor was really amazing, the quality is good, and the price is fair. I am really impressed at how they served the food and how creative they are. Their offers are really great and affordable. They are one of the best Noodles spots here in this area of Glenview. Can’t compare it to other stores because their place is very unique and cozy. This is definitely a hidden gem of this city. Amazing food at such affordable prices. The noodles are well-cooked, the veggies are fresh, and the taste of the soup is everything! It is really beyond my expectations. The quality is really appreciated. The staff here was very nice, friendly, helpful, and very attentive. They really help customers who needed something. Even just for taking pictures, you can ask for their assistance. All of them are decent and professional. They are also fast workers and they serve all the orders right. No need to worry if your orders will be served on time and right. Everyone working at this place is really great! Will definitely be back soon! Thank you Noodles & Company for your amazing...
Read moreWe had a disappointing experience during the shift on September 6, 2025, at around 7 PM. The service was terrible—it's clear that they don’t care about their customers. We've been loyal customers for a long time, regularly ordering from this store and earning rewards points.
However, when we tried to use our rewards points along with our order, they refused to process it with various vague explanations. When we asked to speak with a supervisor, they falsely claimed that no supervisor was available and provided us with a phone number. When we called the number, someone hiding in the back picked up and simply said they didn’t know what happened and they can’t help!
It felt like the staff was unqualified and indifferent to customer concerns. They either don’t understand how to use coupons and reward points or simply don’t care. This experience has made us decide we won’t be returning to this location again. And we so regret that we left them generous tips, before we try to...
