Starbucks — Restaurant in Northfield Township

I recently visited a Starbucks location, and unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing. When I ordered two coffees and two sandwiches, I was met with service that made me feel disregarded and undervalued, both as a customer and as a person. The employee who assisted me displayed unprofessional and rude behavior: he interrupted my order to take a phone call, leaving me waiting for over five minutes without any explanation. When he finally finished his call, he didn’t resume helping me or ask if I needed anything else, completely ignoring whether I had any preferences or dietary restrictions, and simply processed the payment without any consideration.

Another employee eventually had to step in to complete my order, but with no communication from the first employee about whether my request had been fully addressed. This second person also asked no questions and didn’t check if I needed anything additional; he merely finalized the order without even providing a receipt or proof of payment.

I believe this type of service, lacking empathy and professionalism, goes against the customer service standards one expects from a brand like Starbucks, known for its customer-centric approach. This experience was a complete disappointment and tarnishes the reputation of a brand I have...

I have come here on two separate occasions, which both occasions were for a meeting. Both of those visits I lucked up because I walked into this location during ghost town hours, but you can still hear the social butterflies socializing away, plus the baristas mixing up those dranks, as like many other Starbucks locations worldwide.

Prior to walking into this location all I could think about was that Starbucks in Philadelphia and the impact it made worldwide. As an African American male I do have that suspicion because I have not walked into a Starbucks location in a while, but I'am well aware that our Starbucks locations in Chicago/Chicagoland are ran totally different than that location in Philadelphia, thankfully! In order to eliminate that suspicious feeling completely I went on and purchased a drink while waiting to conducting my meeting with a coworker.

As for my purchase I purchased a cafe mocha, which is one of my regular choices along with white chocolate mocha, flat white, or the cinnamon dolce latte, which all geek me up the entire day, and for that I thank you dearly...

🤷🙏They always had a lot of outdoor tables and chairs and still weren't enough for the summer it's a very busy area on the Glen in Glenview. And now that they remodeled the inside they took away the old outside metal chairs with newer ones but there's less chairs and tables than was before. 🤷✨ now that it's starting to be warmer out you're not getting the same amount of crowd or regular people that live in the area to go on the weekends to sit outside.. it would be Awesome !! Nice if Starbucks would put four more large tables and chairs outside on top of the small tables what they have now..😀 I've talked to many people at least agree it would make This Starbucks perfect if they put more tables and chairs outside or even inside..for the Starbucks like they used to it's always a very popular place in the summertime and I figured it'd be great if you put them out side now that it's April 17th 2024 just in time for the people that show up in the neighborhood it will do great for Starbucks and the community . Of Glenview at the Glen😀❤️🙏 who else that sees this review agrees ✨🤷...
