I wish I could give less than one star. I also wish I had read all these horrible reviews before deciding to stop there but who does that for Wendy's? It's my favorite fast food. How could they mess that up? Let me tell you. We stop because we're in a hurry and need to eat. The drive through is backed up but it's lunch time so that's not abnormal. I decide to park the car and go in. There are only about 8 people in line and they have a self order machine so I put our order in. My name pops up second on the list and I think, sweet, this shouldn't take too long. And then I wait, and wait, and wait, and wait. I see the lady at the front, who I can only assume is a manager because she got to wear an Ohio State shirt while everyone else was in uniform, apathetically taking and fulfilling orders. She did not seem to care at all about the lines of people waiting on their food. Some people stood at the register it felt like for 5 minutes just waiting to order while I'm not quite sure what she was doing. Everyone in the back cooking and prepping just followed suit. I have never seen people move so slow. It was like they were having a contest to see who could care the least about the people waiting on their food. I went to get my wife's drink from their Coke machine. I can only imagine how long they would have taken if we weren't responsible for ordering our food and getting our own drinks. Anyways, I go to get the drink and it pours half a cup and then runs out of the drink. There was no one to tell though. They were all too busy not caring. The only reason I didn't walk out and ask for my money back was because I was convinced that would take even longer. Anyways, after 25 minutes waiting for "fast" food, my meal was finally ready. Did I mention there was only one order on the list in front of mine? I go out to the car and my sandwich is just a mess. I still can't figure out how because I watched the sandwich cook move and I don't know how you can move that slow and still make it that messy. By far, this was the worst Wendy's I've ever been to and I will never go back unless I've got time to kill and want to punish...
Read moreThis was hands down the worst Wendyâs Iâve ever been to. The service was practically nonexistent, and the employees who were there seemed like they couldnât care less about helping customers. When I walked in, I was told I had to use the kiosk to order because they âdidnât have enough peopleâ working. If I wanted to order at the counter, I would have to wait at least 10 minutes. I understand that places can be short-staffed, but the attitude from the employees made it clear they didnât really want to deal with customers at all.
On top of that, I asked about purchasing the Frosty keychains since there was a sign in the window advertising them. Instead of a polite response, the manager just told me they werenât selling them anymore, shrugged his shoulders, and walked away without another word. No explanation, no apologyâjust complete indifference.
To make matters worse, when we had a question about the food, we asked another employee, and he just stared at us blankly like he had no idea what we were talking about. At this point, it was obvious that in-store customers were just an afterthought. It seemed like all they cared about was keeping drive-thru times low, even if it meant ignoring people inside the restaurant.
And then there was the foodâif you can even call it that. It wasnât fresh at all. The fries were cold and stale, like they had been sitting out for hours. The sandwich was slapped together carelessly, and the bun was dry. It was clear that no effort was put into making sure the food was even remotely decent.
Overall, this was a terrible experience from start to finish. Between the rude service, the lack of help, and the awful food, I honestly regret even stopping here. If you want decent service, fresh food, or just basic human interaction, Iâd recommend going literally...
Read moreLast time I went there was last Halloween night. Immediately after I walked in, they posted signs on the door saying that they had to close the lobby because they were short staffed. I placed my order on one of the digital devices they have. Then I go up to the counter where I waited for 30 min and a worker asked to take my order. I told him I had already placed it and I have been waiting on it for 30min. He acknowledged it. And it still took another 30 min to get my food. Which while my food was being prepped, I saw a worker who was on a smoke break during all this. When he came back, he went straight to the grill, didnât wash hands, was going in between making food and texting on his cellphone. When I finally get my food, I go to the drink machines. One of them is leaking everywhere. I take a bite of my food and the fries tasted like they had been lying around for quite a while. Food was definitely not fresh. Couldnât believe that it was acceptable to them to serve that.
A couple months before that I went into this very location during the lunch hour. It smelled like something was burning. And I walked up to the end of the line at the register. Then I hear a customer politely tell them âthis is the worst Wendyâs I believe Iâve been to. And Iâm on the road driving across the country for a living.â When I saw that I did turn the other way and leave.
Bottom line, donât go to this location. Even if youâre close to it, it will be better for your time, quality, and moneyâs sake to go to a different Wendyâs even if the next closest one is 30 or so...
