if i could leave zero stars i would , i’m puzzled as to where to even begin with my visit today , i could start with the most simple of my issues where three servers were congregated in one booth behind us discussing, all the restaurants drama at a volume only suitable for an elementary school playground, my food finally arrived with the first few bites of my mac and cheese being ice cold as if it just took up residence in the window , our crab legs each had no less than a half cup of overly roasted minced garlic, served over a bed of unseasoned potatoes that are huge chunks & lightly fried while i wasn’t pleased i wasn’t going to complain, until upon further inspection i noticed a POPPED CLEAR HAIR ELASTIC amongst my potatoes! my mom held the rubber band in her hand while she was walked past by atleast three employees who paid no mind to our disgust on our faces or the literal rubberband dripping oil she was holding , eventually we were passed by someone who i assume is the assistant manager and we presented our issue to her, she said that she had no idea what was in my food that maybe it was a tendon (in a potato?) and she stated the surplus of garlic on our plates was customary and even weighed and pre-portioned, did i mention the black substance on our crab legs that can literally only be described as ink like . as for that she said our issue wasn’t with the meat itself inside the shell so we should and i quote “TAKE IT HOME AND WASH IT” excuse me !? she then stated that the only compensation she was willing to provide was to remake one meal and take a meal off, so as we waited on the one dish we were expected to now split amongst ourselves the server came back by to check in she then told us “that looked like almost double what they usually put i just didn’t know forsure so i couldn’t say anything” not her fault but wasn’t i told earlier that it’s pre-portioned? anyways the woman who i’m assuming to be the assistant manager came back and my mother asked for her GMS contact info ; she proceeded to give us only a name and said “he’d be here later” and to just call the store ; she then doubled back and told me she’d actually accidentally given me her OWN name and wrote the correct name on a receipt that was later taken from me so it served no purpose to me, will not be returning and definitely recommend more in-depth management and customer service training for someone who will represent your company in...
Read moreI came her with my girlfriend for dinner a few weeks ago and have regretted it ever since. I've never been more disappointed in a meal in my life, especially for the money I spent. We sat down and ordered a dozen oysters and were told there were only enough for a half dozen. Not a big deal. We ordered the half and our server brought us some of the saddest looking oysters we'd ever seen. They were small, discolored and FILLED with sand. We each tried one and spit them out. Aside from the gritty texture, they tasted like they were scraped off the bottom of a barge. I rarely ask for a manager, but I wasn't going to pay $9 for something inedible. When the manager came to our table, she assured us that the oysters were "of peak freshness" and asked me if I had any idea how food was stored in a restaurant. She refused any refund, so we just let it go and tried to enjoy the rest of our date. Our server was amazing and agreed that the oysters were not fresh. Next came the main course, shrimp fettuccine for me and a fisherman's feast for my date. When the dishes came, I didn't even have to take a bite to see that my shrimp were extremely overcooked. Very rubbery and chewy. The lobster tail on the feast was smaller than my thumb and, much like the shrimp, very rubbery and chewy. I asked for the manager again to voice my concerns over the meal, and she again questioned my understanding of how a restaurant ran. I guess you have to have a culinary degree to know what rubbery lobster feels like. Our server was very helpful and explained that he receives the same complaints daily. Management refused to give any sort of compensation for the awful meal, but our server gave us a free dessert under-the-table. When I go to a restaurant and spend $60 on a meal, I expect it to be somewhat decent and I definitely don't expect to be questioned by the manager and made to feel like I don't have a valid opinion unless I've worked in a restaurant. I will never go back to a Red Lobster after this experience. There are plenty of non-chain restaurants with kitchen staff that care and...
Read moreI honestly don’t know what was worse the service, the drinks (bartender service) or the food!? It was ALL LITERALLY DISGUSTING!! Ordered a Tito’s & strawberry lemonade a drink on their menu. It was nothing but water an liquor! Absolutely disgusting. Mind you we ordered drinks as soon as we sat down they came 2 minutes before our MEAL! Got our salads before we even got the free bread that I had already previously asked for. Let’s talk about the food! Daughter ordered garlic shrimp scampi & I ordered Walts favorite defried shrimp platter. The scampi was dry, unseasoned an absolutely no garlic butter, when asking the manager who brought the food out if she could have garlic butter he stated it normally only comes with lobster or crab. We asked well can we order some? He said yes only for the waitstaff to bring regular melted butter no garlic still! My defried shrimp was very undercooked to the point the batter was mushy an wet far from anywhere near a lite crispy defry. The waitress asked if their was a problem I said yes told her about the food an that I could not eat it. She asked if I wanted another order. After the whole ordeal I declined an said I would possibly feed them to my dog because they were absolutely inedible! In the end I left them to be thrown out because I wouldn’t even feed them to my dogs! My meal was not comped or discounted which was fine an EXACTLY why that waitress got a 0% tip. I grew up in a restaurant business we always tip well but she didn’t deserve a single penny neither did the whole restaurant! Food, service & drinks TRASH!!!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND...
