**Rebagging returned food is harmful to consumers and facilitates the spread of COVID.
On 5/19/21 around 8:20 am I went through drive-thru and noticed the car in front of me had gone through a bag of food (the bag was extremely crumbled up like it had been thoroughly touched and looked through) and returned it to the lady at the window. When I pulled up I noticed she was handing that same bag to me. I asked the lady at the window if that was the same bag returned and she said “yes, but they didn’t touch the food” I told her that I still don’t feel comfortable taking that food and if I could get fresh food. She said to park and they’d have it out. I decided to park my car and go inside to watch and heard the manager Marie or Maria (my apologies for not remember her exact name) say “just re-bag it” and saw first hand her place that same food in a different bag and tell a young man to deliver it to me. I stopped her and asked for a refund because I just saw her re-bag the same food. The manager lied to my face and said she didn’t re-bag the food I told her it’s not right what she’s doing and she wouldn’t like people doing that to her. She gave me the refund and spoke to me in a respectful tone but did lie to my face. I request for the supervisor to review the camera footage and you’ll notice me wearing a grey/black top, pink cap and light blue with navy blue yoga tights and notice that I did observe the whole thing and you can see her rebagging the food near the fry station. Please please please inform/train the employees that handing out food/ re-bagging that has been returned is unsanitary and it’s a public health concern especially during this COVID-19 pandemic. Please feel free to email me or respond to this comment for further information but seriously this should not be tolerated because people can get sick. If McDonald’s truly believes in their own words “ The health and safety of restaurant employees and customers is a top priority.” Directly From their website then I would hope they follow up but if not then I see it’s all a gimmick and McDonald’s truly doesn’t care about the safety of its consumers and approves of this type of reckless behavior from its managers. Please help reduce the spread of COVID and not be responsible for facilitating the spread of it. I’m livid and have the right to be especially because my 8 year old son and 2 year old daughter were about to eat that food.

Read moreIf I could give 0 stars, I would. Drive through was busy, so we went inside. The seats were filthy with children's foot prints, and the tables hadn't been cleaned. After waiting over 20 minutes, we walked up to the counter and finally received 3 of the 4 sandwiches we ordered, one of which was wrong. After we walked up to the counter to tell them about the incorrect order, they continued to focus all their energy on cranking out new drive thru orders instead of prioritizing our incorrect order within the restaurant. After another 15 minutes of waiting, they still had not started making the missing or incorrect sandwiches. We could actually hear them arguing in the back that they gave us everything, claiming they didn't owe us anything.
There were 3 other pissed off customers in the store who had waited 30 + minutes and wanted refunds, but were so furious they just walked out.
As a former McDonalds employee, I am appauled at how bad service has become inside the restaurants. Its not just this location, as I have experienced this same lousy service in Colorado. All they seem to care about is drive thru times, and customers in the store are almost completely ignored. We placed our order at 10:13 and walked out at 11am without our missing sandwiches. Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service. Corporate needs to do some soul searching, and have breakfast at a Chik-fil-a, where they can study what real customer...
Read moreMcDonald's my favorite from childhood. I've always loved McDonald's french fries. And Big Macs of course we can't leave that out. I love that they have their breakfast menu on top of the regular menu the only problem they keep changing it around and the breakfast menu is getting smaller and smaller at certain McDonald's I'm not sure what the reason is but where I go there's only a few options in the mornings. One other thing I'm wishing for is that they will make the teriyaki burger full time in Hawaii. It only comes out every 6 months and only for one month and then it goes away for another 6 months. I know a lot of people buy it when it's in so I'm not sure what the reason is for them not making it irregular item on their menu. I guess also that because of this virus still hanging around that has caused a lot of things to stop whether it's in restaurants or stores like they just started up with a Happy Meal toys again for the children which is nice and they just started opening up the seating areas again.
