Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Oak Ridge

I made an order for a cake on March 2022, and I had the worst customer service from the general manager who called me at home yelling at me. She was complaining about an order that I made online and yelling why the order couldn’t be done by Monday 11:00 am when I made the order on Saturday afternoon.

When I ask politely to not raise her voice to me because I was not her employee she stated that she was the general manager. That she was the only employee at the store and she asked me (still raising her voice in an aggressive attitude), offering me multiple pickup times options. By this time I was so irritated that I hang up the phone, not before telling her that I would let her supervisor know about this behavior.

If the general manager of a business that I own is capable of such behavior, I can’t fathom what kind of culture or work environment this place has

I just know that she messed up with the wrong customer.

That’s when and I hang up the phone.

This is the worst service I have ever received from any retail place ever. Baskin Robbins franchise you better fix this for the sake of your brand.

Went I was much younger, there were Baskin Robbins everywhere in Knoxville, TN. Now all these years later, they are scarce and difficult to find. That said, I was in Oak Ridge, TN last weekend, I found a Baskin Robbins there so I decided to stop by the Drive-thru and make an order. I looked on the menu but it did not see any mention of the Baskin Robbins famous World Class Chocolate Ice Cream. So I became disappointed until the voice came across the Speaker asking if I needed a minute or if I had any questions. I asked if they still carried the original World Class Chocolate Ice Cream? They said that they do. I became excited by the response and I order 1 scooped on a sugar cone. We drove to the Window and paid for our order, I could not wait for that taste once again, a taste that I remember from my Childhood. Then it the Ice Cream and Cone were handed to me. The moment I taste it, I remembered this Ice Cream from my childhood so vividly. It was tasty and yummy too, the Velvety Milk Chocolate & White Chocolate flavored Mousse Ice Creams mixed together. I will make it a point to go back to Oak Ridge and have more of this since it cannot be found in...

As a customer: Definitely the worst Baskin Robbins I've been too. The guy behind the counter was more interested in shadow boxing than serving us. After he realized we weren't going to pay attention to his boxing, he finally greeted us. We asked if we could sample an ice cream and he said no. I definitely don't believe it's a Covid 19 policy because otherwise he would've been wearing a mask. So we decided on a couple flavors we thought we might like. The ice cream scoops were already almost the consistency of a melting milk shake and dripping (almost pouring) down the sides of our cones. It wasn't even that cold. From now on, Freddy's and Maybell have my buisness.

As a delivery driver: I also drive for doordash and will not pick up orders from here. There's always only one person working here even when it's very busy. The order is never ready when I get there and I've had rude experiences...
