It was after 3p.m. when my daughter and her two young children and one(1) and two(2) years of age arrived first late lunch. The children had gotten up early; their mother Josie Gunter had a OBGYN appointment (due with baby #4, not to exclude her stepson#5). Our server saw us and I could seen her face drop; as it turned out Luna our server was at the end of her shift. Luna was awesome, we could not have been blessed with better service. Late in the day I HOP was empty except for the staff and I thank God for that blessing as well the children were tire hot and hungry. We order breakfast for lunch I was experiencing my daughter's late pregnancy cravings no sooner had we order the children started the screaming and it did not stop. So when Luna returned with our drinks in added lunch sampler upon Luna's suggestion. I did help. The restaurant may have just finished with lunch on a Tuesday, but it was clean front doors tanles cleaned and wiped down stocked and the finishing touches we're being done when we arrived. We hadn't waited long after the sampler was served to us when our meal was brought out to us. I commend the entire staff that attended to our every need and this day I seemed really need with the children and their wailing lungs that never ended. Only one time was it brought to my attention how late it was in the restaurant business when Luna returned on last time requesting that we take care of the bill because her shift was over. I have no idea if she stayed late but I thank her for her kindness😗😙😚Luna both my daughter and I think you are an angel s not by God. Had we experienced any other service that screaming crying children can at times bring out even in the best of people I would have broke out in a crying fit myself. I thank great service and the hearts and love of people like you Luna as well as my daughter and her husband (to be) and all the others that have steadfast love for the youngest and littlest people . IHOP your store was Awesome to my family we plan to visit again soon. Oh yes the bathrooms were clean that was our first stop... Read moreThe worst IHOP experience I've ever had, or seen. First it took a few mins to be sat down. I noticed several table had not been bussed. The restaurant only had, maybe, eight tables worth of customers. There was 5 or 6 waitresses. Tables should have been clean. After we sat down, waitress came a few mins later to take our drink order. At this time I noticed 2 gents being sat across from us. We placed our food order and then waited and waited and waited and waited some more. The 2 guys next to us, never once talked to. No one helped them, no drinks, no orders. They eventually left about 20mins later. We continued to wait, them we noticed people behind us, who were sat a while after us were given their food first. In all, I believe we waited 30mins for 3 pancakes and a BLT. As we ate we noticed another table was sat behind us was being ignored. That lady had to say something. Not 5mins after we got our food the check was dropped at the table. I paid with my card, the waitress didn't have a pen for me to sign the check. She had to chase down a pencil, something that could be erased. Not sure who runs this location, but they should be looking for a different job. I'm including 2 pics. One of an unbussed table. Read moreMy waitress was terrible. I hope she is going to school to earn a degree in a different career field. After getting seated, we waited 10 minutes before getting a drink. Those small glasses full of ice don’t offer much but I should have rationed it by the capful because I didn’t see my waitress or get a refill for 35 minutes. Even the manager came over to the table and asked if we needed anything, I replied yes, a refill. She must have thought that was beneath her, because another 20 minutes go by without a refill. An hour long wait and our food shows up. My wife had to go get our silverware and napkins. We had to remind our server what was on our order because all of it didn’t come out. I finally get a refill and finish my meal wondering why iHop continues to have the worst service no matter what state you’re in. In my 2 hour experience, I watched as servers looked confused at what they were suppose to be doing. One was running around the parking lot chasing cars over a drink cup. Another was cleaning a table until the hostess came up and told them they took too long. He was there less than 60 seconds by the way. The one server who was hustling could not be identified across the establishment due to most employees, including the manager, not wearing a name tag. 2 out of the 7 employees I counted had one on.
