Myself and my husband came into this Wendy's tonight around 6PM. It was very busy, and many people were standing inside waiting for their orders. We placed an order at 6:06PM and did not receive our order until 6:45PM! The ONLY reason we even got our food at that point was because I went up to the counter myself to ask about our order. We watched many people inside the restaurant wait nearly or just as long. One man was STILL waiting after we had finished eating and were leaving! Another man had left the store with his order and had to come back! We also saw people who ordered after us receive their order first, and all we ordered was two 4 for 4s, with no special order on them. We did receive hot food, the correct order, and two free cookies. However, the entire time I was inside the restaurant, not a single employee came to wipe down tables or do any of the general maintenance in the dining room that is required. There were messes everywhere, wet spots on the floor from people spilling drinks due to the crowds, overflowing trash at the condiments, etc. I'm sure the entire time we were there, no one in the drive thru was made to wait THIRTY MINUTES or more! Also- as we were leaving, the restaurant was still busy, people STILL waiting TOO long on food, and there were TWO employees outside taking a smoke break. Every time I come with my family, we always wait a while for our food (never this long) but, something is ALWAYS wrong with our order. I realize that when we come with several people, it's a large order, but no one ever seems care about any inconvenience for us! We had three children tonight and this just ended up being such an unbelievably miserable experience. If you guys don't have enough staff to properly run your restaurant, then YOU SHOULD NOT BE OPEN. There is no reason to treat your paying customers like this.

Read moreI purchased two baked potatoes last week , when I got home and tried to start eating them they were completely burnt up . The potato inside the skin was orange which is an indication of being in a warmer too long and the skin was so tough that you couldn't bite through it . I stopped there today and talk to the manager that I talked to on the phone Krista . The night I bought the potatoes I call back to complain and the manager I talked to had a really bad attitude and when I told him I squeezed the potato and the potato inside the peeling was orange , he asked me why I did that with an attitude . I went back to Wendy's at the time Krista had told me to get my two baked potatoes and I was in the Drive-Thru and told him I had talked to her so I also bought a large chili , I drove up to the drive-thru window and they tried to charge me for the potatoes that were burned up that I was promised to get for free . That same manager who I talked to that night with attitude was in the store giving me mouth because of their bad food . I asked them did my chili cost me $11 or you trying to charge me for the potatoes that were bad . I work in fast food industry for years and no bad food when I see it and I see bad management . Krista was extremely nice and pleasant to talk to but the other manager was very unfriendly and not very pleasant I normally stop at Wendy's here in Oak Ridge two or three times a week and drop 40 or $50 and I will not be stopping there...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst food and service I have ever had at a fast food restaurant. I was in the area and navigated with coworkers to the nearest Wendy's, since generally they're pretty reliable.
My hamburger tasted terrible and felt like fake meat. It was far too crumbly for a normal hamburger. It was tasteless. The bread was stale. The bacon on the sandwich felt and tasted like a big piece of a flat, synthetic bacon bit. It was bright red, too. Sure didn't taste like bacon. The sandwich was soggy, like it had sat for a while and was microwaved. Whatever happened with that, it was awful. I have had that same sandwich before at other locations and those were great. I have no explanation for what I got. The fries in my combo were also missing. I didn't have time to go back due to work.
Th Dr. Pepper I ordered was watered down. It had so much ice and water...there was almost no Dr. Pepper flavor at all. Just a flat, diluted after-taste of Dr. Pepper.
I couldn't even finish the meal. I ended up going back to work, still hungry. I paid over $12 for this. I would have done better just eating nothing and not having spent the $12 just to be grossed out.
Also, the dining room was closed. However, none of the staff in there were wearing masks. I don't care if they were wearing masks, or not, but why are you closing the dining room due to "Covid", when you aren't even wearing masks. ...
