Can't say its the best pizza I've ever had. But it was definitely one of the busiest pizza places I've ever been to. Wait was crazy at 830pm, queue to order was at least 15 minutes (queue was packed to the door), and the wait for the pizza was another 45min at least. Unfortunately i saw a family beside my table waiting when we sat down, and was still waiting after we were done eating, only to find out their order got lost. Ordered half and half, White and Artichoke Pizza, rating 6.5 or 7/10.
Went in again for a Calzone at 6pm, was rather quiet, but they had to serve the Forest Firefighters first, so it took me about 30min again to get my calzone. My first ever calzone, peppers, onions and mushrooms inside just tasted like they were lightly steamed, was pretty wet in there. Crust was amazing though, just expected it to be more savory. Youre gonna need the ranch for this calzone. 6/10
Staffs taking orders were really hard-working and handling the angry crowd as best as they can. Friendly and helpful in customizing your orders. Really appreciated their valiant efforts and energy to keep the customers happy and less upset with the waiting time.
Heard from the people working in Mariposa that no one else really eats there except visitors, but there really isnt much choices around anyways. If you like pizza, give it a try. It was a good way to wind down for a late dinner after a long drive from LA, so I did enjoy that.

Read moreI thought I was ordering online delivery. When I finished my order online, it showed me the route on the map for pick up. This was inconvenient because I was parked in my RV at the local Fairgrounds and I had to break up her early going to town and find a spot for 25 feet. Once I got there, there was no clear space where you were to pick up the takeout order. So I stood off to the side with another gentleman for about 5 to 10 minutes easily before I decided to call the store on the phone and get information on whether or not they got my order, and where to pick up the takeout. Once I got that information then I stood in line with the other patrons until it was my turn to ask if my border was ready at which point it was and the young lady told me they usually do have delivery, but because they were shorthanded, there was no one to fill that role on this night. I got the tomato basil pizza, the honey wings, and Caesar salad disappointed in the wings. They were small but tasty. You know the salad was good and I wish there was more tomato on the pizza. They were tiny little diced pieces instead of the slices that I saw in the photo. I would dine in next time. There was parking on fifth Street at the end...
Read moreThe pizza was pretty darn good for being what I’d call American style—tons of cheese that overpowers the rest of the toppings and a medium-thick doughy crust. I had the all-meat and the pesto and sun-dried tomato pizzas. The all-meat met my carnivore cravings with salty sausage, pepperoni, and some sort of diced ham. I think the ham could be done a little differently, but I’m sure the way it’s cut is due to how the restaurant buys it. The pesto and sun-dried tomato wasn’t too good. The cheese was like rubber, and there was so much of it that I never tasted the pesto or the tomatoes. I also tried the pepperoni and jalapeño pizza. That was good. My conclusion is that this place does basic pizza styles much better than they do more exotic flavors. So, if you go, order the regular flavors to maximize taste and also save a few bucks. Overall, this place serves up some delicious calories after a long day of hiking, and they have good local beers on tap. I’d recommend it for a “cheat” meal. Also, plan for the pizza to take a little extra time. We were there when it wasn’t too busy, but the pizzas still took about 40 minutes compared to the 15-20 that the...
