The food is good, but the guy on the register is offensive. Today, Fathers Day about 1:45 pm, When I pulled up he put the credit card reader in my face and said, “ here’s this in case you want to leave a tip”. Then I pressed no tip and he quickly turned it around to see if I left one. Then he was rushing the kid topping off my açaí bowl probably so my order would be messed up for not leaving a tip. It wasn’t messed up but I saw the kid nervously hurrying when no one needs to move that fast because that’s how mistakes are made. You raised the prices again, 12.71 for an açaí bowl with peanut butter is wildly greedy. I pulled in to a parking spot to eat and observed the guy in the window doing the same thing to other customers turning that credit card machine around to see if there’s a tip. Like I’m gonna give you one for taking my order and handing me a pre made bowl. That’s what you get paid hourly for. The greed and entitlement is WILD. And he better not mention a tip to me next time. No one else does that, at any other...
Read moreI have never had a bad experience at this location in Ocala. Even the one time I got a smoothie with coffee in it that I couldn’t drink (I’m sensitive to certain sugars), they replaced it for free and with a smile. I’m not sure what is going on when the reviewers who comment on wait times have come through but I have never had a long wait even with several cars in front of me. I imagine they could get shorthanded, which can be normal in our post-pandemic world so I have just learned to be patient. Anyway, I’m obsessed with the new Mango Monsoon smoothie and before this obsession, I would get the green smoothie because it was the only one with no added sugar (you can get honey) but it was good, also. This was, of course, before I found out you can ask for no sugar on any smoothie. And the flatbreads are...
Read moreWas super excited that this was coming to Ocala. Boy were my expectations shot. The food was not the best at all. We ordered quesadillas and a Caribbean jerk wrap. My husband and I looked at each other after we tried it and we were like this for isn't good at all. Lack flavor and his quesadilla's were very small for the price we paid. Wawa serves quesadillas and they're bigger and better tasting. That's pretty sad. We also got two smoothies. A strawberry banana and a blueberry one. So disappointed about the flavor, and by the time I got them while I ordered at the drive-thru they were watery and melted. I asked the girl at the drive-in about the edible straws, strawberry and lime and asked her if they were good and she told me no. So I didn't try that. Just overall experience was not impressed and...
