Aloha Soft Serve — Restaurant in Ocean City

This is my family's favorite place on the boards for a few years now. Two of us are dairy free, so its perfect. The original pineapple is AMAZING!!!! So glad they now have 2 locations. Edit: We still love Dole whip, BUT....since the pandemic Aloha has stopped offering sizes. Now it's one size and costs $8.25! Kind of ridiculous honestly. Also, this week (8/23) I purchased a cup from the 9th St location and my niece purchased hers later at the 13th St location and they were different. On 9th street, they were filling the cups way up past the top (as it should be for $8.25) and on 13th, they barely passed the lip of the container. It should really be consistent considering what...

Was the Dole Whip good? Yes. Was it worth standing at the front of the line for roughly 15-20 minuets while the two girls behind the counter ignored us? No. Every time we tried to get their attention they turned around and walked further into the shop. I understand it is busy in the summer, but a simple "Hello we will be with you in a moment" would have been fine. There was also a huge line behind us, and several people left it because we were all waiting with no idea when these girls would acknowledge our existence.

FINALLY, Dole Whip soft serve can be found locally. Previously, our family has only been able to find it at Disney World, and we have heard rumors it's available at Dutch Wonder Land too, we just never really go there. Needless to say, now it can be had all summer long on the OCNJ board walk!

Highly recommend if you love Dole Whip at Disney or have never tried it before, its a delicious twist on traditional soft serve ice cream .
