Munchies & Memories — Local services in Ocean City

This is my favorite shop on the Boardwalk and a welcome relief from the many toy/fun shops that have all of the same stuff. The owner Mark is incredibly friendly and he hand selects the coolest and most fun toys (from Rubik’s cubes to puzzles to coloring books to beach items to mood rings to the funny small prank toys you might have seen as a kid if you’re in your 40s like me. There are also free books to read on the beach, and a wide selection of everyday things you may have forgotten to being with you (toiletries, batteries, etc.). It’s the first place I go whenever I visit Ocean City!

What makes this shop even amazing is that the prices are TOTALLY reasonable. Cheap, even! I can’t say this about anywhere else on the boardwalk these days! When I needed new batteries urgently he charged just $1/brand-name battery, and I bought a slew of fun things for my kiddo (and me, I’ll admit) that cost about as much as a couple bags of cotton candy. You can tell from the first time you walk in and meet Mark that this store is a passion project and he wants as many people as possible to simply enjoy looking around and the things they end up taking home.

Absolutely incredible experience. Amazing prices, better than any on the boardwalk and honestly most stores ive been too. Overall such a great vibe in the shop, this store has literally everything. Not to mention the strange lore behind the bananas. The store owner was funny and super nice, the store itself had so much stuff I spent most of my money on the boardwalk, here. Definitely coming back next year I come, absolutely...

I absolutely love this store and owner. Such a gem on the boardwalk. There are so many fun, cool, unique items and toys to see, not to mention the large variety of board games to choose from. My daughters and I walked out of there with 3 amazing puppets. A large rat , a hare, and chameleon. All such amazing quality and very life like. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to...
