Julia's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Ocean City

Review based off of the soft serve and the cannoli.

We tried vanilla, chocolate twist, and creamsicle twist. Flavors were all great however the ice cream was not set enough - they were dripping down the cones as they were handed to us. This was also in the evening when temperatures had dropped so we scrambled to eat our ice cream as everyone walked by us on the boardwalk staring at we dripped ice cream everywhere 🤣

As an Italian from NJ, I was excited for the "best cannoli in ocean city" these things are about 3-4 times the size of a normal cannoli, and for $6 they better be. The shell was fresh and crunchy, the cream on the other hand fell short for me. First off it had chocolate sprinkles which makes it seem cheap. Secondly the cream itself seemed like it was cut with some type of whipped cream. Traditional cream is ricotta and sugar, keep it simple. This had an airiness to it, so there's no way it's just those ingredients.

Disappointing. My husband and sons purchased ice cream here. About 3 minutes after they bought their ice cream myself and my daughters sat down with them to all eat together. The worker at Julia's came out and asked us to leave since my daughters and I had outside food (outside food that we were not actively eating or planning to eat. It was in a bag). My husband explained to the worker that ice cream was just purchased at Julia's and yet they still wanted us to leave. I will add that all of the tables were open and there was plenty of space for us, especially since we had just bought multiple ice cream cones mere...

🙌🏾If you want a real authentic Italian tasting canoli, this is the place to get it from. Julia's on the Ocean City Maryland Beach Boardwalk have the best tasting canoli ever!!!😋 I ate one there and had to purchase another one to take back home with me. I will definitely be returning again soon for a weekend just to get more canolis to bring back home and share with family and friends. The service was above and beyond excellent and friendly owners. Enjoyed hearing the history of the "Famous Julia's Canoli" that is hand made from scratch from "Grandmother Julia's" recipe. Oh sooo very good and...
