With its limited availability for breakfast only they obviously offer a somewhat limited menu. Their portions are generous and well prepared if not a little on the spicy side for some unexpected dishes. Prices are competitive and they do have a few standout dishes like their bananas foster that are worth trying. This venue is almost all atmosphere with the panoramic overlook from the 6th floor looking over the back bay. Regardless of crowd size the room never feels cramped or overly loud. Located inside the Grand Hotel may discourage non-hotel guests from visiting and the abysmal parking of the hotel doesn’t help. The wait staff is prompt and polite. They always seem to be in the middle of a shift change when we’ve been in because they seem to shuffle personal readily and you could have interactions with three of four people in a single visit. I don’t know how practical a venue this is unless you are staying at the hotel. The breakfasts are hardly and generous and priced accordingly I’m afraid so you won’t find any significant bargain here.

Waited for the food for around an hour, it wasn’t that busy (Tuesday morning). Everyone around was waiting for food as well. Extremely overpriced food, I asked for strawberries on my pancakes and expected a good amount for the extra charge, but got about a tablespoon of cut strawberries on my pancakes. The cups are dirty. Weird things in the juice. Coffee was brought in stained outside the mug which could easily have been sanitized. And coffee was overpriced and charged for refills, with no warning. Server basically checked in and felt like we were just getting annoyed. I have worked in the food industry and know even under stuff in the restaurant you should atleast explain to guests the situation.

We attended a Youth Conference at the Grand Hotel the first weekend in January 2024. We decided to have breakfast at the Terrace Restaurant on the 6th floor. We were told there were only 2 servers so there would be at least a 15 minute wait. Our group of 11 decided to take a seat in order to seal our spot. I ordered the Fresh Country Eggs. I had two scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese, scrapple, home fries and toast. I could have used another slice of toast. Food was good, service was good especially since theywere trying to serve multiple people. Nice view of the beach.

The service here is subpar. Once seated it took a waiter 10 minutes to get to us. Another 10 minutes for our drinks to come. And 30 minutes for the food.

I asked for turkey sausage with my food and I was served pork. I do not eat pork. The pancakes were underdone and looked very pale. The only thing on my plate I thoroughly enjoyed were the home fries and the fried eggs. The home fries were cooked well and seasoned properly. It’s hard to mess up a fried egg so I’m glad they didn’t.

My boyfriend was served French toast and scrambled eggs. He said neither was satisfying to him. He also ordered an apple juice for his drink. The apple juice came in a very small what looked like a 4oz mason jar and the jar was not cleaned. He sent it back.

Our waiter did not come to check on us after our food was served. Rather he brought us the check once we were done, that is bizarre to me.

It is also very cold in here. I understand it’s winter still but you would think that would mean turn the heat up a bit. Everyone is wearing a jacket, I don’t think that is something a restaurant should want out of their guests.

I would not recommend this place. There are many more restaurants in the area that seem...

Me and my family had breakfast here 2 mornings in a row. We had the most delicious breakfast. The fruit bowl was fresh and sweet. The kids enjoyed the parfaits. Both of my servers were phenomenal. Dimitar was very nice and attentive. He made sure we had everything we needed without me having to ask. He was very personable. Him and my son hit it off. Natalia was my other server. We came to breakfast late about 11:30am and breakfast was over at 12pm. We were the last ones to leave out. We were never rushed us. She offered me a refill to my coffee even after they had closed the kitchen. She cleaned up all the empty dishes as we were eating giving us more room. I observed the manager cleaning tables and picking weeds with the same gloves. Very unsanitary!!! I will definitely...
