Finest Grind Coffee House — Restaurant in Ocean Springs

My husband and I really enjoyed our lunch at The Grind. First I have to say the employees made us feel welcome and even made suggestions as to what was on their menu. The coffee was spot on and I am hard to please since I also know alittle about coffees. The food was even better!!! I had a salad and my husband had a club. Needless to say we both had a salad and a half a sandwich because I couldn't stop tasting his delicious sandwich. I've both were impressed with the cleanliness of the quaint "coffee house", but also loved the food and coffee. When we got there the drive thru was full and when we left the drive thru was still busy. I am a hard person to impress being a waitress/bartender myself but if you get a chance to go by for coffee and/or lunch it will be worth it. I will certainly go back...

Walking into the coffee shop I was promptly greeted. The store towards the back looked out of place with random boxes and clutter out in the open. Overall the atmosphere was a traditional coffee shop. Our order was promptly filled and corrected free of charge for one item that was wrong. When I got home to enjoy our coffee and treats, that was when everything went down hill. One coffee was under sweetened and tasted bland the other coffee was completely over sweetened and both were not palatable. We ended up dumping our drinks out. The only thing worth while was the plain ham and cheese croissant sandwich and the cinnamon rolls we ordered. I was very disappointed and had hoped for a better experience. I've had the coffe once and it was delicious, I loved it. I have also had the strawberry smoothie many times, way too many to count, and it is splendid. I've had the brownies too and they are delicious. This place is an 8/10 would recommend. Only because one time when I had their brownie and smoothie I ended up getting sick later that night. However, it could have just been from the food I ate a dinner I am not completely sure what made me sick, but this food is delicious. They also gave my dog a treat and he loved it.
