Shocking experience, I was in the drive thru line at 8:57 and there was 1 car in front of me. I was excited I had just made it in time because I knew you all closed at 9pm. The car in front of me took a really long time, asking questions, and eventually ordered. I got to the speaker right after the car pulled up and it was 9:01pm. The employee said “Sorry were closed.” And I was like ah man, okay I think they’ll understand if I let her know I was behind the gentleman that was just ordering for a while.. unfortunately they weren’t understanding. She responded with something along the lines of “there was nothing she could do.” and then it went silent, no more responses.
I drove up to the window in hopes of placing my order with someone else, but several of your employees walked by the drive thru window and didn’t look my way. It was 9:04 when I was noticed and I explained that I was here before closing time and they said your system shuts down right away at 9pm and it can’t take any more orders? There were a ton of people working too, like at least 5 or 6, and they all started to crowd the window listening and none of them wanted to help or had any interest in the experience your customer was having.
I completely understand wanting to get home, it was after 9pm on a Saturday night, and I’m sure closing routines and cleaning had started but it was only one more order. No one else was behind me and it really would of made my night to have had someone on your side have a bigger focus on customer service. They didn’t offer any pre-made options like your snacks or anything, just no care and to be honest a little attitude of like “what do you expect? We’re closed.” I’m only writing because I know the manager wasn’t on that night and if I was the manager, I would want to know about this.
Long story short.. if you’re cutting it close and really wanting a smoothie, not your place to head across town for. Also, if you’ve had a long day or a tough day, temper your expectations (lol) the employees here aren’t going to greet you in a way that will make your day better than before. It comes down to effort and there’s just a shockingly low customer service mentality in the employees. Being nice and understanding to your customers...
Read moreOn our way to the airport in mid April we stopped here. It was mid afternoon on a Tuesday. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean and they were busy. The lobby and drive thru were packed! They were also receiving a truck order.
Our receipt says our cashier was “Taco” but I honestly can’t remember the young mans name. He was wearing a headset, listening to drive thru orders, although someone else was already handling that. He did not listen very well to our order… which was two of the same drinks with extra protein and peanut butter. However, he was very nice. Once I got my receipt I realized that he did not charge for the extra protein on one of the drinks, he apologized and made the drink accordingly without worrying about charging us the $0.99. We then were served our drinks by a young lady, again polite. However, we received a smaller size drink than ordered. This young lady was quick to apologize and add what was needed to make the drinks the correct size. Again, they did not worry about arguing and were happy to make their customers happy. (Checked receipt of course). Again, they were busy!
They had about 5-6 young employees all working and not talking, or on their phones. The mistakes were honest and quickly corrected. And the wait time was not outrageous, yet the appropriate couple of minutes. Would give them 4.5 stars if Google allowed. I would return as the service was still better than some other Smoothie Kings...
Read moreBeen going here since they opened and already at Champion status. Always enjoyed their Vegan Mango Kale after a workout. However I'll have to take my business elsewhere. On more than one occasion the app does not work to take the price off. And yes I toggle the switch and can clearly see where it says the amount off on the payment scan screen. Yesterday was the final straw. I received $7.00 off for my birthday and made sure the toggle was on when I presented at the window. Cheri informed me that the money didn't come off and she wasn't about to "come short in the drawer" so I would have to take it up with customer service. In disbelief I went ahead and emailed customer service. The resulting response was that there isn't a problem with the app and I just didn't have the reward turned on (ummmm yes I did), and that maybe the team member scanned at the wrong time during the transaction process (ya think?). Then there was the dismissive recommendation that I use it before expiration! LOL!! So I called up customer service and the gentleman said he is working on it and I"ll hear back in 30 mins. It's been an hour and not holding my breath. Guess they lost one loyal customer over $7.00. Ah well. Others...
