Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Ogden

7/29/2023 I took my family to Baskin Saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy by the time we came. About 3-4 families arrived at the same time. Which I know it’s best ice cream in town. Well I ask for a shake and the gal (I will not say her name she seemed new, I ask questions her answers were not sure as her response was I don’t know instead of asking for a supervisor or saying let me find out for you that was annoying) said their blenders are not working. And I had just seen someone with a shake there. I had a feeling she said that cause there was so many of us waiting and it does take longer to do a shake then just serving ice cream. But we were all patient. Well the upsetting part was 7/30/2023 the blenders were working I seen thru the window they had just used the blender. I am assuming they bought some new ones ? Yeah sure…right ..??they were the same ones so I did not walk in as I was afraid they would tell me again the blenders are broken or not working. Very upsetting. Downgrading from five Stars to one. Tonight's experience was unacceptable.

Show up 20 minutes before closing today 12/7/23

-All the exterior facing open signs are off -All the employees are hanging out in front of the counter with their friends chit-chatting etc everything I wanted to order cannot be filled tonight because they cleaned the blenders early. The service I got was absolutely dreadful and the store clerks acted as if I was a burden. clerks were not wearing gloves and had long hair that was not tied up. I would understand if I came in 2 minutes before they closed but I was a full 20 minutes before close.

It takes me 20+ minutes to drive here from Willard, however after my experience tonight I will plan in the future to drive even further to a different location, or more likely completely...

The cookies were so hard that even warmed we could not bite through them, but they were hot enough to melt the ice cream and create a sticky wet and crumby mess which was far more than the single 3 inch square napkin (which we had to ask for because there wasn't a single dispenser in the shop) could ever have been an adequate countermeasure. Beyond that, they must put gold in their products, because it's far more expensive than the competition who produces Farr Better ice cream, with Farr Better portions, and with employees who may lack the attitude of being imposed upon because God forbid they have to work rather than post twits about how boring their job is, etc. Skip BR and spend your money on Farr Better things.
