I went to go pick up a delivery for door dash and they shut the lobby down 10 minutes early and the kid that was sitting on the counter threw his hands up in anger when i showed him my doordash bag and he yelled to go through the drive though . I went to the drive through and had to order 2 apple freezes 5 empanandas and a chicken quesadilla. The i got through the drinks fine the chicken quesadilla fine but the empanandas......this is what what happened. "We only have 2 empanadas is 3 cinnabun okay?". I responded "well i cant this is a doordash order thats already been paid for it has to be empandas" they kept pushing the fact that they dont have the empanadas but theyll give me cinnabun. I had to emphasize i could not accept that Eventually a young girl (the supervisor came on and told me i needed to leave cuz i was holding up the line and they had other orders they needed to take. After all that i contacted doordash customer support and was told to place the order again and when i finally got someone to make an empanada the guy at the window told me "sorry we just dont like to make those this late after we clean" when i drove off the punk from the beginning of all thia was staring at me from the lobby window wws staring me down trying to look tough and intimidating. so all of this; a bad review on me for doordash, having to comp a customers meal, and explain to them why it took from 11:50 to 12:32 to get their food ordered was because they were lazy and didnt want to fry...
Read moreI'm usually not one to complain about service but this was about the worst. Just try and put yourself in my shoes. I had been starving the entire day because I work two jobs and I don't have time to eat in between jobs so I took my lunch break around 8 PM on Monday night. when I got to Taco Bell The drive-through was completely packed and there was nobody inside so I decided to go in the lobby to order because I knew that I would be late back from my break if I sat in the drive-through. When I went in and I ordered it seems like drive-through was their only priority. I totally understand that they were busy and they were shortstaffed but if you're going to make me wait 25 minutes for my food it better be fresh and of great quality. But that's not what I had received. When I got my food 25 minutes later, I found that my quesadilla was burnt to a crisp. Inedible. I didn't have time to turn around and bring it back because I would have been last back from break.
I get the fast food industry. I was a manager at Burger King and we got busy. It's ok to be busy. If people can tell that you're working hard, fine. You're doing a great job. Read moreFood is good. I've been going there for years and it's always had good food. Problem is now they have everything digital. And yes it is a problem. The last few times my husband and i went there we ordered from the menu and waited for our food. It came out immediately but...no drinks which i admit has always been the one problem I've had with them in the past even in drive through. They have no way for us to get our cups ahead of time so we have to wait for the order to get them which wouldn't be a problem except they don't actually put it on the tray. And trying to get their attention to let them know they forgot part of our order is a battle in and of itself and because It's automated there is absolutely no one manning the counter for if there is problems. It wouldn't be so bad except we are paying for all our order including the drinks and by having them constantly not giving them to us i feel like the restaurant is trying to cheat us. It is on the order and i don't understand why its so hard to just put everything on the tray. We almost considered going through the drive through just to get someones attention. Digital is nice but that is no excuse to suddenly pretend that your dining room customers don't exist because that's how it is starting...
