I am done going to Wendy's ever again. I don't know why I keep trying. Each time I go there, I leave frustrated. Yet for some reason, I want to get them one more try. But no more.
Let me start off by saying their service is the epitome of what any business should not do! If you go to any of the Wendy's locations in utah, we will see that they have made a conscious decision to put their newest and most untrained individuals at the register in the dining lobby. That by itself is not an issue. What is an issue is the fact that they put them there without any backup support. Not only do they have to take all of the dining customers orders, but they also have to fulfill all of those orders. There is a full support staff targeting the drive-through customers. But not so for dine-in customers. It is this very model that leads to my frustration. I am not a drive-through customer in general. In fact, if I go to the drive-thru 5% of all of my visits, that would be considered a lot. I know there are other customers out there just like me, that just do not want to go through the drive-thru to get their meal. But apparently, Wendy's believes they do not need those customers. It is at this point, that I will oblige them, and never return.
Because of this hugely inefficient model, I literally waited in the restaurant lobby, waiting for my food for 57 minutes, before I finally gave up and asked for a full refund. I will not be going back to Wendy's ever again! This was not a one-time problem. It happens every time I go there. And it isn't just this location. Others in my area are just as bad. This one just went to a...
Read moreJust drive an extra 10 minutes to another Wendy's. The service is horrible at this location. I took my 2 kids to eat inside for the first time and was appalled at the rudeness of the employee taking orders. The woman (didn't see her name) was not at all friendly while taking our order. My kids love the sweet and sour sauce and once we got our food, I saw there was only 1 sauce. For all 4 of us, we need it least 4-5 sauces. So I went and asked the woman if we could have more. She rudely said that there was sauce in the bag. I told her that we need more than 1 (and honestly for the outrageous price for fast food, I expected to get more than 1 sauce). She almost looked like she wanted to fight me over extra sauce and angrily gave me 2 more. Of a course my kids needed more sauce, so my husband went to ask the woman for more. He told her that he would pay for more. She just huffed and rolled her eyes, but gave him more. This woman really seemed like we were asking for free food and was so incredibly rude- all because sauce! Plus, the inside of the restaurant was gross with sticky floors, gunk on the drink dispenser and grimy tables. Just not worth it to be treated so rudely for overpriced food in a...
Read moreHonestly never ate at Wendy's much, always just getting a frosty or a chicken sandwhich if I did go. But today I went to one and actually took some time to look over their menu. I was honestly impressed with how good the double baconator was. I will say the employee that served me was a bit odd cause I got confused as to how to complete the order cause instead of saying something like "Is that all?" He just sat and stared at me. But the fries were alright, baconator was AMAZING, and sitting area was clean. I will say the food is ridiculously unhealthy, only healthy thing probably being the insane amount of protein in the burgers, but still amazing tasting. Not as good as say In-N-Out, but on par if not better than McDonalds or Burger King burgers. If you like burgers, I can almost promise you will like the double baconator.
I would also highly reccomend the whiskey/bourbon burger if it is on the menu and you don't mind the taste of such a thing. It does not actually contain any alcohol (or very very minute amounts, a child could consume it) and has a sweet and tangy flavor, with a bit of a savory hit at the end...
