Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Ohio

I dine at my local Applebee's several times per month, so why not eat it in Ohio? Well.. because it was the worst Applebee's experience ever. I should have known better than to order food after walking into the bathroom to change my baby & it smelled of raw sewage. When we went to order, we were made aware that 2 of the 3 apps we were interested weren't available along with several other items. It then took at least half an hour for our apps(nachos & soft pretzels), and within 5 minutes, my entire meal was on the table. As i write this review, my man is questioning his life on the toilet from his subpar whole lotta bacon burger. I got a southwest chicken bowl. No lettuce or guac. Extra rice & chimichurri or however you spell it. Bowl comes out with dry, room temperature chicken. On top of a huge bed of lettuce. The chimichurri was seperated, a thick green goo of it was splattered on my chicken. It tasted like strait oil & had none of the kick it usually does. Maybe like 6 black beans and a kernel or two of corn that sort of resembled a salsa of sorts. Not only was my waitress unpersonable, she down right just didnt care. After quickly dropping our food off, it took another 15ish minutes for her to come back for me to even let her know it was all wrong. She could have checked her ticket or looked over the food. The lettuce was clear as day. The sauce was clearly not... right at all. The lack of ingredients was very apparent. It was like end of the night scraps and they couldnt be bothered to open more to give the correct portions of anything. When i said it was wrong, she took offense and said "what exactly is wrong". No apology or attempt to even care. There were very few tables. It was 2 hours before close. There was a nice little gathering of employees hanging out at the bar having drinks, and the workers still on the clock seemed to think they deserved more attention than we did at our table. Had the boneless honey BBQ chicken and the crispy chicken salad which were very good, but this is the second time being there and getting the brisket quesadillas and hardly ANY meat on them. When the brisket is the main ingredient on them, then you should get enough on it to amount to something especially for that price. We had the older waitress and she was very quick with getting everything to us and very friendly, but didn't like that she reached over the wall at the ramp and handed our food to us. I think that it should be brought right to our table and they set it down in front of us as anyplace else does. Then when we're about to leave, the manager yelled so loud at the cooks and whomever else that they should be doing whatever job it was then just sitting!! She seriously yelled so loud that EVERYONE in that entire section could hear her! From the tables there at the restrooms all the way to the other end!! She came out of the kitchen and everyone was looking at her and she acted like she didn't even care. So, the food was very good and the waitress was nice and quick, but can't say much more for the place. Pathetic and the manager should be ashamed of herself...

My lunch time meal, I ordered the fall off the bone ribs. I got the half rack with fries and a order of coleslaw. The ribs were so tuff that I had a hard time cutting them apart, and very dry. The fries weren’t hot and dry also, the coleslaw was ok but had big hunks of cabbage in it, I prefer a little finer coleslaw. We had to ask the lady after we got our meal for the coleslaw then it was several minutes before I got it. Our area was very cold. I remember eating there once before right after they opened and I remember getting ribs then and they haven’t changed since then. My family took me out for Easter dinner, my daughter said we were going to Applebees. I told her about my first time experience and said I would try it again hopefully it would be better.
