I am a new customer to this store on Elida Rd. Not able to give good review for the 2 visits I attempted to make . First visit pm waited to pull up to order station . 4 employees inside . Finally got to window to be told closed. Lights at drive thru on plus inside on with 3 employees in view . No sign or blocked lane indicating closed . Other. Customers prior waited on . Second visit . Waited in line long time , got to window and had a polite greeting from male clerk . ( only positive to visit was this employee) explained I have a coupon for 6 inch sub received in mail from what I assume was Subway . WAS TOLD TO SHOW IT thru window then was told we do not take the coupon . Looked again at coupon to verify and sure enough it showed SUBWay. Question is to a subway owner or manager. If you had a coupon that stated for example Burger King or McDonald's or Wendy's where would you take it to be honored? Of course I took a Subway coupon to a like store . Opinion if you do not want to honor your company coupons then do not mail them to customers and then make a person wait a long time in line to find only discouragement . Wastes Customers time . Also if you are closed then block the drive up lane or turn off the lights to the menus board . All this is common sense and respectful to customers . Store drive thru is worst one, no signs showing were to order apart from a small neon sign in a large window on the side of the building and a small speaker in the wall at knee height. Ordered our food pulled up to window. They got signs saying they don't take $50/$100 bills. Person behind us only had a 50. So worker asked us to go around so lady behind us could get out of line and that he would have our food ready when we came back around, So we did. Someone was behind the person behind us. Ended up waiting 20 minutes to get them thru so we could get our food. Our food was already made sitting in a bag for 15+ minutes while they made the person infront of us food. Read moreI worked at this subway for a short time around 3 years ago. That’s how I know when someone is new. I went in for 2 subs and it took around 30 minutes total when we were the only people in there. I’m assuming this is due to lack of training. When I worked there I got 0 training and was just told to do it. Which don’t get me wrong it’s not hard to figure out but no one shares strategies to do anything faster. When I went to pay they told me I couldn’t use the full gift card. And I didn’t know how much was on it so I just figured there was 15 on it and my total was 20. Then the cashier told me that there’s was still $5 left on the card. I don’t know why I had to use my debit card to pay if the gift card covered the whole thing. Please train...
