I ordered my regular drink, an iced PSL (no whip with pumpkin cold foam). I paid using my Starbucks app. I used my points and whatever was left on my Starbucks card on the app. I waited for my drink. The employee called my name and came to get my drink. I noticed it was vanilla sweet cream cold foam instead of pumpkin. I normally never speak up if something is incorrect, but today I decided to. I said “excuse me” to get the employees attention. She came forward and I told her I requested pumpkin cold foam. Morgan is the employee according to the badge on her apron. Morgan told me that she and the other employee who took my order heard me request vanilla sweet cream cold foam. I told her that I apologize, but I asked pumpkin cold foam. Morgan told me that next time I need to clarify again when I’m ordering which makes no sense to me, honestly. I ordered my drink (as I always do) and they gave me the total and I paid. It wasn’t read back to me after I ordered for me to correct it and there isn’t a screen that displays the order so I can review it. I wait for my drink to be remade. The other employee must’ve asked what was wrong and Morgan (quiet enough, but with attitude) had told her that I ordered my drink wrong. It was the attitude that was with this interaction. Once my drink was made, I told Morgan thank you for remaking my drink, but I could hear her from behind the counter. She made an attempt to defend herself with an attitude. I told Morgan that I let her know I could hear her so she could be more considerate of future customers (because this was a very uncomfortable interaction for me). She told me that I need to order my drink right next time lol.
Overall, this was an awful experience and the customer service isn’t there. The atmosphere was uncomfortable and not welcoming. On the bright side, my PSL was good. Read moreI'm not a coffee drinker so this was my 1st time. I simply was getting a gift card and the employee was unbelievably rude to me for no reason. She didn't greet me at all just stood at the register and only said hi when I said hello. She wasn't very helpful at all about the gift cards..the way she spoke to me shocked me since I was there for something very simple. I'd understand if I was being difficult but I was purchasing a gift card only. Then she said i couldn't pay with cash and I said thats fine but stated that i found it werid that I had to pay with card instead of cash for said gift card, she said " NO ITS NOT!" Then walked away from the register into the back room without finishing the transaction another employee had to. This other employee was very kind. She told me the rude employees name was Brittany. I informed them it did not taste like a Brown Sugar Latte and they saw it was not entered as a Brown Sugar Latte. Of course, I am not in good mood after waiting for 20 minutes not knowing it would take that long. And all they could say would you like me to add Brown Sugar. I had to hold my tongue back, what ever happened to the good old days when the customer was treated with respect. If the SB rep would have said sorry for the mix up sir and your wait.
