First, let me start out by saying that the food was great. KUDOS to the chefs!!!! Now, let us get to it!! We entered the establishment with a party of 13 (Table 21/1; check 4272; Emp #: 170-LZ). I usually call out server’s names, you get a break today. Anyway, my party asked several times for an extra table to accommodate our party because it was a tight squeeze. Even if it was impossible to meet the request, you could have come back out or sent a manager out to explain that being the case. Instead of taking our drink order, she stated that she would just bring everyone water. It took fooooorever, to receive said water, it took fooooorever to receive drinks once we placed them. After she delivered the drinks, she came around with the scooper to refill the chips. Because it was a community basket, if you know what I mean, I requested another basket for myself. She hesitated, then asked if I wanted her to add it to the order. I did not understand so I repeated that I just wanted another separate basket, she made the statement again. Then proceeded to ask if I want to place an order. I along with the party placed our orders. I watched her enter our order in the kiosk; after which she came back out. We met eye to eye and I mouthed, “my chips?” She went back in and started making circles in front of the chip station. I do not want to speculate; however, it was as if she had a problem in bringing me more chips. I watched as she grabbed the scoop then place it back where she picked it up at. There was a tall guy that went to the chip station where she was. As he grabbed the parchment paper and basket as if he was making his own, he handed it to her. She brought it to the table. After that, there was a very nice and attentive guy that came to our table with two more baskets and asked if we were good and if we needed anything. We declined them, but that was an amazing display of customer service. Awesomeness!!! After we received our food, my order was minus beans that I thought I was supposed to receive, I digress. She never came back to refill my empty cup. When she finally came back to the table, I asked for a refill to which she responded, “you want a refill of water?” I replied, no I would like the same drink. The cup was filled with ice and barely any drink in it. At this point, I was over it and asked for one check. I did not review my ticket until today. Thank you for the promotion discount that took care of the BoomBoom sauce charge of $4.19 where I am baffled that the charge was even on the ticket. Anyway, Ms LZ, your customer service was less than; therefore, you did not receive a tip from me. I stated to the table my thoughts regarding the tip and that they could put something down. Next time, do better and you would walk away with the 25%, because that is what I...

Went to the New Chuy’s in Oklahoma City, OK off of Memorial and was treated horrible by the hostess! The area to wait was very small and there were a lot of people as it was lunch on a Sunday (7/23/23). I mentioned how they needed a larger waiting area after she and the other host kept pushing their way past my family, instead of going around the other way which was open. She then informed me there was a waiting area outside, a covered patio (only 95 degrees), but they have fans. What she didn’t know was that my dad recently had back surgery and could not wait out in that heat, and also needed somewhere to sit. Where we were sitting, people had been sitting when we walked in and nothing was said to them. However, after multiple snide remarks from her she came and told us, “you need to move, this is where we make our napkins and get our menus ready”. I immediately went out to the patio but my dad did not get up. A few minutes after we went to be seated and things got worse from there, after I told her how I felt about her, she told me I was entitled. I told her I didn’t want her to seat me, she took me to a manager which was an assistant manager. He was worthless. No apology or trying to listen to what even happened. He told me I didn’t understand what she goes through (but sir I have worked in the food industry, so has multiple of my family members and would never treat people like she did). He asked if I wanted to eat there or leave, and while I wanted to leave I didn’t want to upset my dad. He was the worst manager I have ever dealt with! I do have to give props to our waiter Davee as he was awesome and did a great job! He was the best thing about the place. I won’t ever go to that Chuy’s or another one ever again! I wouldn’t recommend anyone else go to that Chuy’s in...

1/27/2025 A return visit was in store since my wife had never tried a Chuy’s restaurant. This was so much better than the last! Our server Seth was outstanding! Friendly, prompt with following up and great in the recommendations.

We arrived after 1PM and it appeared that they were past the lunch rush. We started out with the queso and added the ground beef, pico de gallo for an extra $2. It was definitely good and would recommend.

We scanned the entire menu and finally asked Seth for recommendations. My wife chose the Elvis Green Fried Chili. It had been a popular choice and it’s now part of the main menu. Overall she liked but probably wouldn’t choose it again.

I chose the Combo Fajita Lunch which was decent. They were good but I’m going to try out more of the menu.

This restaurant recently opened and it was on the must try agenda. Even though we came at the noon hour we were still able to be seated immediately. It had been several years since I’ve dined at a Chuy’s restaurant and although kind of skeptical on a new opening it was a good choice.

The queso was good but not complimentary. The chips & salsa were also good, especially the Hatch Chili!

I opted for the ChuyChanga with Tex-Mex sauce w/rice & beans.

I must admit I’ll be back to try more!

I guess I never hit post after my previous comments

Made a return visit on 4/16

Ordered the queso again!! Outstanding but get the Avocado, Pico & ground beef!

I ordered the Mexi-Cobb Salad - I would order that again!

My wife wanted to try the Chicken Tortilla. We’ve heard great things about the soup and she really wanted to try. Somehow this missed the mark. Won’t go into the details but the manager...

What can I say? I. Love. Chuy‘s! I fell in love with this restaurant chain back when I visited my first location in the Dallas Texas area. Their Tex-Mex food is delicious! The whimsical Tex-Mex atmosphere is always clean and bright. Your dinner comes with chips and salsa and also creamy jalapeño sauce. Get a margarita! I had a frozen strawberry margarita. You won’t be disappointed! They also have a sangria margarita, which was delicious. My favorite menu item is the deluxe tomatillo chicken enchiladas. The deluxe tomatillo sauce is a slightly spicy sour cream sauce. Even their refried beans and rice is delicious, and you can’t always say that when you go to some other Mexican restaurants. There are even menu options for the child who doesn’t like Mexican food, as my daughter had a cheeseburger and macaroni and cheese. Thank you, Chuy’s, for having these options so that mama can still get her Tex-Mex fix! Since this location just opened last weekend, the wait was substantial, around 90 minutes at 6 o’clock. But they take your mobile number and text you when your table is ready. This is nice, so you can go wait in your car with the A/C on & your kid can color or watch his/her tablet while you wait…stress-free! And even though this restaurant was jamming, the service was outstanding. I forgot the gentleman‘s name who waited on our table, but there was also another kind waitress nearby, who took the time to interact with my daughter. Her name was Melissa, and she was wonderful. Thank you for making this experience a fantastic one! We will be back Chuy’s!
