Edit/update: I wanted to add that I only ordered a “little” fry at like 45 min before close & was pleasantly surprised to find that I have been given a huge amount of fresh fries, looked like I got a large for the price of a small & could’ve easily been shared between 2-3 people, especially if each person got their own burger. (So although the prices are high, the portions are big & the food is high quality & fresh so imo is worth it, I also like how the use foil to keep your burger warm so you can actually enjoy your fries & not have your burger be cold by the time you get to it, all in all best experience I have had at a burger joint in years. 5/5)
Great beef patty when cooked correctly. 5/5 on the beef/burger itself when cooked right. (Consistency is key here.)
Wish they offered toasted/grilled bun option. A little butter & little grill time does wonders for the burger- Really completes it; makes the bland bun actually appealing.
Regardless, 5guys makes one of the best burger’s you can get in all of OKC, up there with expensive gourmet restaurants Burgers.
My latest visit reminded me just how good their burgers are. 5/5.
Cajun fries were a good change but they may have went a little overboard with the Cajun seasoning, (maybe that’s just me tho), that being said the fries both regular & Cajun are really good even tho they are a bit pricy. I will prob stick to just the burgers from here for now on considering I could buy a whole 10 pound bag of potatoes for the price of one small fries…
Burgers (without the fries & drink add ons) are totally worth the visit tho.
Fries need to be reduced in price or offered in a discounted meal bundle with the burgers. It’s highway robbery to charge that much for oil & potatoes… please address this.
The burger prices are more understandable considering beef costs but charging 1000x on potatoes is cruel. 4stars only due to the high pricing but...
Read moreI went to 5 Guys tonight because I had read an online review about them in a food magazine, that praised 5 Guys highly.
I ordered a little burger and little fries. On the burger I had mayo, ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato, mushrooms, onion and fresh jalapeños.
I brought it home, heated up the fries in the air fryer, while I examined the hamburger.
The burger was quite large for a little burger and there were plenty of fries for a little fry.
The flavor was very good, the burger was juicy, and all the ingredients tasted excellent.
The fries were fine alone, with plenty of potato skin left on, and crispy even before I heated them @400⁰F in the air fryer for 3 minutes.
For a little burger and little fries the price was nearly $13.
For me that's extremely expensive. I suppose they justify by offering free peanuts and a large portion of fries. (even in a small) I didn't have any of the peanuts because they were salted.
The staff were friendly and efficient. The burger and fries were excellent.
I will probably not return, but only because I am retired and on a fixed income from the VA.
Their atmosphere, food quality, and service, certainly justified their prices —but I can't justify paying their prices.
As I said, the burger and fries were excellent; — but I'm more interested in saving money.
That's obviously not 5 Guys fault, and so my recommendation is that they were definitely worth the 5 stars I gave them.
It's not fast food, it is quite literally a quick service restaurant. I'd recommend them to anyone.
They were good enough that for my birthday I might return and splurge on a large...
Read moreThis was the worst experience I have ever had at this restaurant. They messed up both my wife and my order and the fries were over cooked. My wife does not eat meat so she orders the veggie sandwich without mushroom and askes for grilled bell peppers. I am not as picky but there are two things I don't like on my burgers, cheese and pickles. We got our food and my wife's sandwich had mushrooms, and the green peppers were not grilled. My burger had pickles that I didn't ask for. The fries were over cooked and greasy. I don't know what was going on at this location as we have never had problems with five guys before. I saw no management in the store so maybe that was the issue. None the less, we will not eat at this location again, and I hope that they get this location under control before the...
