Hosted a birthday party at this location for two of my LOs as they are twins. If it weren't for all of the party goers stating they had a great time, I would certainly be very upset and requesting a major discount. New location for Get Air, however I have been to the location in Norman and did not think I would need to tour the location before booking. Man do I ever regret that decision. I had called to speak with someone at the facility to ask as many questions as needed. The employee were knowledgeable and provided comfort for booking online so I proceeded to booking the same day. I booked the most popular plan with a party room and were able to use a coupon to add an additional 5 jumpers. The employee informed me the room were upstairs so partygoers who may have issues with mobility may have issues accessing the room. However what was not communicated, was that jumpers outside of party goers can access the entrances within the party room(we were basically a part of the jump area just secluded above everyone). Why pay $75 for seclusion if we could have been downstairs and still in the mix also. This should have been communicated. At first i were annoyed due to miscommunication of that, then I just brushed it off as it is not to ruin our first experience. The room also were dark(maybe a certain vibe was the goal, however a light were out that dimmed majority of the room). I were told we would have an employee tending to the party needs. The employee were absent all party and advised us to contact them if we need something(that's not what we paid for). The location were to include plates, napkins, cups, and utensils as this is also a part of the party package. We were only given a dinner and dessert plate per jumper, napkin per jumper, and cup per jumper along with a few extra plates and napkins. We had to ask for additional utensils and plates. This could have been avoided if we truly had an employee assisting us during the party. 15 jumpers we received 3 pizzas and three 2-liter drinks. Additional pizzas $17.99 and if more were needed during the party, we would receive them at the end of the party as they order the pizza from Marco's. (This also were not communicated to us, however so thought it were strange we could not order additional pizza last minute. It made sense once i seen pizza is from Marco's and is not made at the location). Drinks provided were also Luke warm. My assumption is the location does not have a kitchen nor a cooler to keep the beverages cool for the parties they are helping to host. The poor gentleman helping people get checked in were by himself which made for a very slow transition to the jump area and party room for my partygoers. Communication should be better and the website is very misleading for party expectations. This location is not equipped to truly host parties. I will take this as a learning experience. I will not host future birthday parties at this location again, but I will certainly bring my children to play again. This location had so much to do that every jumper were sweating. The young lady that were assigned to clean our party room is such an angel. She helped me bring party goers shoes and clothes downstairs as the children were too busy to come back to get their things. Thank you...
Read moreMy son absolutely loves this place we have been several times and had a great experience minus today ! First off never once have I been told I had to have their socks to play there out of the many times I have been there which is fine if everyone else had the same rules there today ,when looking around not one other person had "get air socks" on but my son and one other kid out of 9 kids I counted . Whatever blew it off next time I know bur the day gets more interesting after my hour is up and color is called and we are debating on staying or leaving. My son wanted to play a little longer so I go back up to the desk because he called our time was up and I said "hey can we pay for 3o more minutes today and hour is too long I have to work at 530 tonight". Then he proceeds to say "oh by the way today is pay for one hour get one hour free on Tuesday "as I'm pulling out money to pay for another hour to stay for 30 more minutes. Had I paid for 2 hours double the price I'm certain he would have never said a word ! So either this place is commission based (which is fine done professionally ) , and or some weird stuff is going on behind the counter, and or this kid had it out for me for absolutely no reason at all! Only other explanation is he wants no one there at all idk it was all just weird! The professional thing would have been to say ma'am Tuesday is a great day to come in it's pay for an hour play for 2 hours! I was nice never have ever been rude to anyone there the times I have been and the sock thing is no biggie but why just us ? Just very disappointed in the way this gentleman treated me today made me very uncomfortable to be there. I almost packed up and left when he called our color to leave. Why call my color if we get two hours for the price of one makes no sense?? ! I wanted to have my son's 3rd birthday there in October but if he is working I absolutely will not be doing so . I felt unwanted the entire time by that one kid only the handful of time's we have been there recently. If I can also say some helpful tips to make more money for the owner adding food to your services would make you a killing. I spend tons of money at all the indoor play places esp the Playbox in my home town. My son goes to an indoor play place 1-2 times a week so adding snacks and or games as well is a big money maker just wanted to drop some helpful ways to...
Read moreBooked a pretty expensive party package and had a terrible experience. Bathrooms were disgusting, EVERY toilet was clogged, no running water and the floors had wet toilet paper and water everywhere. The large inflatable was out of commission which was the main attraction for the ages of our birthday party. The kiddies room was shut down- Also another attraction for our group. The seasaw was falling apart. The “black light” effects are non existent or at least on the night that we were there. The local manager did respond to my complaint once he was back in office. His intentions were good and offered for us to come back in a few months, his treat to redo my child’s bday party, but realistically, my daughter is 5 and would not understand a “redo” birthday party, months after her actual party. Furthermore I doubt I could convince her guests to return to this place. Corporate, however, is zero help. I had reached out to them initially and it took 15 days to get a response which I feel was an automated email. After calling multiple times they finally shared with me that there is nothing they could do to make it right. It was up to the local manager. So I highly recommend that BEFORE booking anything here to check out the site and features in person to avoid a disaster or more so let down for your kids and guests (which half of ours left due to unsanitary and safe situation for their kids) I wish I had taken pictures at the time to share but I really thought Corp would have done better so that it wouldn’t have resulted in a review like this...
