Todayās experience at this location felt like I was being punked on a tv show! I canāt believe firehouse would have an employee representing their business who apparently hates their job. I walked into this building with a smile on my face looking forward to enjoying one of the wonderful sandwiches that I love. I was not acknowledged nor greeted when entering the building when there was absolutely no one else in line. All employees were roaming around doing nothing. I sat at the register where one employee was in front of the register looking down appeared to be counting money, which she never greeted me.As I continued to wait patiently she finally said after 6 mins. went by āOh the other girl is going to help you.ā I said ok. The other girl (black girl) had this mean look on her face as if she is disgusted with her life continued to ignore me. She walked to the cooler behind the register, looked in, stared at it for a minute then closed it and walked back over to the register. Never said a word. By this time 5 or so more minutes had went by. I said to her with a smile, ā Is the register not working for you today?ā She gave me this look then rolled her eyes along with her head and said:āWHAT DO YOU WANT ā my first reaction was she canāt be an employee here talking and acting in this manner with a paying customer. Customer service is what keep you in business so why would you have someone who have this kind of attitude interacting with customers who determine your business? This type of service is unacceptable in so many ways. I will never be back because as customers we want GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! We all have our bad days, but we have to know how to be balanced and keep our attitudes and issues outside the workplace period. Put her in the back doing dishes or something if she donāt want to deal with the customers. Definitely need to be fired and retrained to understand how important customer service is to the business. Please donāt visit this location if youāre looking for a good...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely enjoyed my most recent experience at Firehouse Subs on Memorial Ave (eastbound) near the Quail Springs Mall in Oklahoma City. It wasn't enjoyable because there was only one other customer ahead of me. It wasn't enjoyable because I was able to get my hands on one of the best tasting meatball sandwiches in town. It was MOST enjoyable because of the amazing (& surprising) Super Star customer treatment I received from staffer Ms. DaShala (duhSHAYluh). She didnt know me at all, but welcomed me quickly and showed impressive skill in making me feel like a special customer! This all happened during the current COVID-19 pandemic (with all its stresses & restrictions). While I waited for my sandwich & watched the tv, she let me know when my order was near completion. Here's what I REALLY appreciated. When my order was completed, Ms. DaShala folded the bag, HANDED it to me & thanked me for patronizing Firehouse Subs! All that, done with direct eye contact AND a grateful smile! I guess I'd gotten so used to OTHER carryout sub sandwich shops just sliding my sandwich inside a plastic bag and sliding it in my direction (on the counter). The management at Firehouse Subs, Quail Springs (OKC OK) should be super proud to have Ms. DaShala as a member of the Team! Not only because she represents the Firehouse Subs 'brand' as a 5-Star Staffer (in my opinion), but because she's ALSO a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI stopped into this Firehouse Subs location, which was new to me even though Iām already a big fan of the chaināespecially the Italian sub. I canāt get enough of that dressing; itās what keeps me coming back. This spot didnāt have the soda freestyle machine Iām used to at other locations, which was a small letdown but not a dealbreaker. What threw me off more was the ordering process. It was my first time using a kiosk at Firehouse, and while the interface was smooth and easy to use, it left me unsure of what to do next. I didnāt know if I was supposed to grab my own chips or wait for someone to hand them over. Same with the drink cupsāI expected them to bring them with the order, but no one did, and after waiting at the counter for a bit, I just grabbed one myself. Staff seemed nice when they were interacting with customers, but they were definitely busy and not always paying attention to the pickup area. On the plus side, this location is more spacious than others Iāve been to, which made it feel more relaxed overall. Still love the food, but a little more clarity in the process would...
