Guthrie's Chicken Olive Branch MS — Restaurant in Olive Branch

This was my first time eating at Guthrie's. Overall, it was good experience and good food. The service at the drive thru was quick, and the staff was ok. The girl at the window was not rude but she was also not very friendly. She looked like it had been a rough day.

Pros: Tenders, were nice juicy white meat The breading was very pleasant and not very seasoned Everyone in my family enjoyed the flavor The portion size was right in line with Zaxby's, Chick-fil-a, and Slim Chickens. I preferred the taste of Guthrie's chicken tenders over these three chains by far. Beautiful new building- Very clean

Cons: Fries were undercooked and a little hard The girl at the window could have been a little more friendly No hot sauce! 😒 They need more options for dipping

Overall- I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a family-friendly dining experience if you have picky eaters or are sensitive to over seasoned tenders. I will definitely go back to this location, and I will also try other locations...

UPDATE 07/12/2024: They're BACK!! Without acknowledging what went wrong during the earlier visits described below, the OB team has since gotten their "Chicken" together. Thanks to everyone involved in the currently most celebrated "House of Chicken" in the Tri-State area...at least in my humble opinion. I waited before posting this update to ensure that the Olive Branch crew members were exceeding expectations on all cylinders on a consistent basis. GO-ENJOY-REPEAT!

When Guthrie's first opened I gave them a try and fell in love 💕!! Great taste, cooked perfectly, and wonderful service. We had relatives try them when they visited us, and they too loved them. The last two times, most recently last week, the chicken has been overdone and the bread has been damp. The service is still great.... but service doesn't satisfy my hunger. I will try one more time before throwing in...

If there’s two things I can’t stand, it’s hair anywhere near my food and a thief! This was my first and very last time visiting this location - the first thing I saw on my container was a nasty, yucky strand of hair stuck in between the folds of it! Next was a SINGLE order of fries spreaded out in a foolish attempt to make TWO! This is straight out theft and I’ve had this exact same trending experience with the fries at more than just this location! If I pay for TWO orders of fries, give me my two orders of fries, please and thank you! As for the hair, each and EVERY employee in your establishment who handles food or beverage should be wearing some form of hair restraint! Why??? BECAUSE IT’S THE LAW!! Oh yea, that goes for your UNBEWEAVABLE front of the house staff...
