Ok, let me start off w/my family would eat Jack's approx. 7 times a month. I told them if my 75yr old of a critic mother says the food is good then it's good!! Now fast forward to this year particularly March-present. The food has been on the decline since the opening of ShelbyDrive! The biscuits constantly being dark & over cooked. When I worked in a food industry that would be trash. I asked the mgr yesterday "ma'am why is the biscuits constantly being over-cooked" she said they are aren't they & chuckled". Jack had lower prices & great food. Now the prices are on the rise w/bad food. Mom was like darn guess they have joined other franchises that doesn't stick to the basics of foods service. We use to be proud to go to Jack's. Yesterday the green beans was like someone dropped the pepper bottle in them & mom threw them in the trash after 1 bite, in trying fix the overcooked dark biscuits African American lady put 1 In the microwave (I said my mother will send me back even if her biscuits are bad) sure nuff the biscuit got to hard in microwave. I came back in & the Caucasian lady put more in the oven after a 5min wait Ihad a perfect biscuit! The potatoes and gravy, hashbrowns, steak patty, bigger jack etc all things that we used to love...is NOT being made w/love. The kids just throw something together & send it out the door/window. NO QUALITY CONTROL. At one point the food actually looked like the photo. Be consistent!! Check everything "managers" Care about every part not just getting a dollar, @ this point we are about done. I have a tomato allergy so that means no ketchup, bbq sauce, tomato powder etc. Tomatoes was placed on my sandwich I got all the way home took photos called back & caught hell trying to bring my food back the next day from management. Really sad!!! The only consistent person that I have seen that will remake, fry fresh & apologize is CHRISTOFF! He is always pleasant & make sure everything is right! I watch him on multiple occasions work harder than the team. He is soft spoken & they don't pay him no mind. I asked where was he yesterday (due to not seeing him the past few visits) "he is on night's" I was told. Good guy... Anyway moral of the story go back to the basics, follow recipes, taste the food, make the kids wear & change gloves. I watched young man pants hang off butt, he pulled them up, went back to stirring a pot & another customer & I just looked & said glad we not getting what ever it was (main reason why I roll myself in, instead of using drive-thru). It's the lack of accountability and the attitude i just got from one of your associates that seals the deal. I have ordered from the app and 2 out of 3 tines my order was messed up and i contacted/left messages on the website. No one has called to rectify or refund my missing order/s. Today, i went through the drive thru at Hackscross and ordered. They were out of chicken so i ordered chicken sandwiches. I get to the window the lady asked if i had all the grilled chicken sandwiches and i clarified it was 1 grilled and 2 regular.I paid and git my order. I pulled up to make sure i had everything and my greenbeans were not in the bags. So i get out with the receipt to go and let them know. One lady said here she is for her green beans. The lady that handed me my food turned looked at me like i just insulted her whole being and said she got her green beans. I said no ma'am i didn't. The other lady said something along the lines as thats what another employee was saying we left off her green beans. She picks up the bowl and reluctantly hands it to me. I told her thank you and walked out. Now i was not rude, accusatory, or just wanting something free. I paid for the item my young son wanted and i expect not to be given an attitude when something needs to be fixed. I find the lack of customer service and accountability very disappointing and will not be back to that location or Jacks since there is not another location near me. Read moreWe did an online order, and ordered mainly boneless wings. We paid online and we’re never told they didn’t have anything we ordered until we got there. I went in and there were multiple workers standing around on their phones and talking. I didn’t even get asked what I needed until 15 minutes of standing there. Then I was informed that they didn’t have anything I ordered. And was told they can substitute for chicken tenders and sauces. So we were supposed to have our order ready at 7:50 but we didn’t even get our order until 8:30. Then I noticed we didn’t get our burger and said something to the manager. She then proceeded to pull up the receipt and tell me it’s not on there. I saw it and pointed it out to her, all she said was my bad. So then we had to wait on that as well, and even after we got the burger the Alabama sauce that was supposed to be on it wasn’t. The manager didn’t even change the prices on everything we ordered. We didn’t get anything we ordered and she never changed the price. (We paid online). $37 of nothing. The service was absolutely terrible. Will never go there again. I was hoping I would have found a new place to eat at, but I don’t recommend this place to anyone. I want my money back and will be calling corporate.
