My guy bought me a diamond band from here and I brought it back for it's 6 months inspection and a diamond was cracked in half so they send it out for repairs (since I have the insurance on it) the wait time was 2 weeks! Got my ring back and 4 days later the diamond they replaced fell out, was drying hands after washing them and I looked down n notice a hole where the diamond they replaced was located, took it back to have em send it off again and then wait another 2 weeks for it to come in, so I finally get it back and i noticed that it was snagging on things like towel or my clothes so i took it back for the 3rd time and they said they have to send it off for them to fix it and re-tip the prongs n again waited the 2 weeks and then get it back all was well for 1.5 months and then a prong pulled my hair n back to Olympia i went mind u we live 30 miles away, they dealt with my man and basically told us that our ring has been discontinued (for obvious reasons) and he can trade it back to em for a different but similar diamond band only the employee was going to trade it straight across then the manager comes out n said nope he has to pay the 60$ difference---- very dissatisfied!!! Never again from kay Jewelers! Only business I'll give em in taking my ring to be cleaned or inspected for my...
Read moreI walked into Kay’s (my favorite store) to pick up my husband fixed bracelet. When I walked in it was busy and so 2 ladies standing at the watches looked up and asked to help me. A blonde woman asked me for my pick up receipt. I let her know I didn’t realize I had a pick up receipt. I handed her my ID and said that’s normally all that is asked for and needed. She then proceeded to berate me on the not having the pick up notice along with saying it states on the receipt that I need it for pick up. I then said I can show you the email to prove it’s me, she said perfect. I then pulled it up and showed it to her and she then tapped my phone and said “see” so you did know to bring your pick up receipt. Then she pawned me off to Jasmine who proceeded tot take care of me with no further complications. I have been a Kay’s customer for over 25 years and this is the first time I have contemplated never coming back. Unfortunately my husband’s jewelry broke 2 days later from the repair date and had to return today. The atmosphere was so much kinder on my return trip without the blonde woman. Apparently her name was Jo. Thank goodness for people like Vicky and Jasmine today. Because if I had to deal with Jo again I would stop coming in. She needs better customer service skills to...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would. My husband bought another wedding band to match my ring set and it doesn’t even match. The sales lady convinced him it matched and it doesn’t even line up with my bands. I had the rings resized and waited 2+ weeks for it. Just to find out the band sits as high as my big diamond ring. Then to top it off, the ring that matched my band is online!!! The sales lady never offered to look online to get the one that matches. They won’t give me an exchange or store credit for something else even though the ring has not been worn. I didn’t even want a refund just an exchange. I’ve been a customer of this Kay’s for a while and I will never again shop here. The sales people are only about making money and not matching the jewelry. The ring was $700 and now I’m stuck with something that doesn’t match and I hate. To top it off, the ring is still being sold at Kay for more than what my husband got it for. There’s no reason an exchange cannot be done. They will still make their money from the original sale and resell the ring that is...
