I want to start by saying I am only writing this review to help others. If you are having a birthday party there, make sure you know/understand what is included in the package. The only thing that helped me is my daughter remembering a previous birthday party she had been to and knew exactly what she was to expect (thankfully).
I got the highest birthday package for her 6th birthday. The package included a “dedicated party host”. This was probably the worst part of it. Besides bringing out our pizza, she didn’t do anything else and never even checked on us. I found her a couple times to ask questions like would an announcement be made when to come eat food or how does this work? She told me eh it’s up to you really. I awkwardly ran the party myself the best I could by gathering the kids. I served everything myself and orchestrated the whole birthday by myself. After pizza there was no mention of anything else that was included. My daughter came up to me towards the end and asked when she got to do the ticket thing. I had to hunt her down and found her talking and hanging out with another coworker. I asked when she was going to be able to do that. She replied oh whenever. So I got everyone together again so my daughter could do this and found her again to let her know she was ready. As we were leaving my daughter said what about my dip n dots?! Thankfully she remembered. Sadly too late since all but one child had already left at this point. I had to go find a manager to help me since no child received the dip n dots I paid for and hopefully even get my daughters for her birthday.
The up side here is the manager did try to make it right. He got her her dip n dots and took a percentage off the package we paid for. I appreciate him making it right the best he could at that point.
The key here is to know what is included in the package. I hope for others they actually get a host as mine spent maybe 5min doing anything for our party and I was left to run the whole thing (which I managed to do the best I could while trying to enjoy it with my daughter).
The last thing I will mention is since the last time I was there they added a “trampoline park”. It is about 6 small square trampolines put together. So not really much of a trampoline park. My daughter and her friends wanted to jump and I did not know this was even there and on top of that is an extra charge. I thought it was just a sock charge and I was willing to pay an extra 2-3$ per kid just so I didn’t have a disappointed birthday girl. However, it was an additional $8 per kid for this little thing. It would have been a minimum of another $80 on top of the almost $400 for my original party charge. I just thought that was outrageous so I had to tell her no unfortunately. I would have considered for a cheaper price or if the thing was actually worth the $8 per kid (I knew they would spend maybe 5-10min on it as they were probably too old for it being that small).
In the end my daughter had a good time and I managed the party on my own. I hope others have a better experience but she still enjoyed...
Read moreIf I could give this review zero stars I would. I booked the mega party for my child, when we arrived the staff at the front said “we don’t have a table for him” and went on about their day. I called several times prior to the birthday and booked the party over a month in advance (plenty of time) for them to expect us. I called the day before to make sure everything was in order. They didn’t even know about the party when I arrived. The Mega party bundle is supposed to include a host, dip and dots, pizza for the kids, goody bags & the ticket blaster experience. The only thing we got was the pizza and we didn’t get enough for the kids, I ordered an additional 5 pizzas and never got them either. None of the staff at the front wanted to help me when I arrived the manager had to come up and give me the game cards and he didn’t even scan them correctly… my guest kept telling me their game cards weren’t working I spent more time asking to have things corrected then time spent with my child. I literally cleaned the tables myself and served everything myself. I kept bugging the manager if we could please do the ticket blaster & the Chuck E. Cheese show… “I can probably do it in 10 minutes” never came out to do it..: our party was 5:30-7:30 I was asking at like 7:20 ish if we can do that… why do I even need to ask for you to do the things my package was supposed to include? Either way it was never done. My child didn’t get the birthday show or the ticket blaster experience the kids didn’t get any goody bags or dip and dots… I ordered an additional 5 pizzas which I never even got. It was a horrific experience. Keep in mind the staff is terrible with children, I caught a employee yelling at my child because I guess she was in his way he had more then enough space to go around her and she was already standing there prior to him yelling at her. Disgusting. Staff is rude and terrible with children. I did everything myself. And my child deserved so much better. Save your money or book...
Read morePoor customer service skills I wouldn't return to Chuck me. Cheese nor would I recommend Chuck-E-Cheese to anyone. Service on Thursday July 29,2019 was very very poor, rolling the neck, smacking the teeth, getting smart for no reason telling my daughter she couldn't come back in Chuck be cheese i tried to talk to the African American lady but she was still being rude so I asked for a manager little was done, this how customers are treated this is suppose to be a fun place for kids instead it wasn't just ghetto unprofessional service I will take the drive to the and spend my hard earn money to the pizza machine instead of returning to Chuck-E-Cheese where I know my kids n grandkids have be respected n customer service is a plus haven't been there but I will go her great things about it the pizza machine of course. I feel so hurt and so disrespected my daughter and grandkids we're really upset and was ready to go to go because of the customer service you would think that one that has a job in that type of environment Chuck e cheese would know how to handle herself but that's not the case. I wouldn't even give Chuck-E-Cheese a whole star I wouldn't give him a half of a star just because of the customer service. I even try to talk to the manager that day on duty nothing was resolved it was like okay let it be. Hire people who want the business to grow and who who has great customer service skills especially working in a kid business that's supposed to bring joy and happy memories that will make someone want to return and spend their money instead of losing customers in getting little kids upset. You're supposed to be in the business of bringing customers in not pushing them away. I can't say it enough but customer service skills sucks and I'm very disappointed. Sincerely,...
