Had really enjoyed going to one of these in KS so happy to find one in Omaha. Typical table and chairs, order at the counter, get your own beverage set up. Not as much to offer for desserts as the one I had been to in KS. Ordered a Reuben to go, came w chips and drink. Salad bar and self serve beverage area very clean and neat. Food assembly area clean and neat. Food prep staff using gloves and proper clean procedures. Waited for my order in the food pick up area. It was about 11A and there were many to go orders set up. About five tables had empty boxes on them in anticipation of a very large to go order. Guy w beard in black shirt seemed to be working on a computer dealing w to go/deliver orders. He was constantly using his shirt to wipe his face and nose. Actually pulled the neck line up and wiped his whole head off Fortunately he did not handle any food or food containers while I was there. Very off putting. Female staff that prepped my sandwich were pleasant and quick. Glad they handed me my food. Sandwich had a Huge amount of meat Enough meat for 4-5 sandwiches. Could not really eat it as a sandwich and too much meat to even be a good sandwich. Removed most and saved for leftovers. Would be better to offer a nice side instead of all that meat and lower the cost. The had several best of Omaha awards. I'm guessing that was for the platters and etc they deliver. I will give the other location a visit but underwhelmed w...
Read moreHorrible service. I ordered a club and a bowl of broccoli cheese soup, the cashier informed me I could get it cheaper if I combined it with my sandwich, which was great. However, I waited and waited for my food while 3 employees either stood around talking and looking miserable, or worked on mobile orders while I stood there. There were other people with me and they got their food way before me even though I ordered first. My food was ready on the counter the entire time, finally I was given my food. I got to the car and realized I was given a cup and not a bowl! For dinner for someone having dental work done. And, it was potato and not broccoli cheese. I went back in and the girl ARGUED that I got the right thing. Lady, you think I know what I ordered when it's on the receipt? I worked retail and I know it sucks, but this was ridiculous. I even had tipped 20%. It wasn't the cashier's fault, he offered to add the bowl to my sandwich to be a better deal, and he did ring it up correctly as a bowl. But whoever packed the order and the girl arguing about the stupid soup. She should absolutely not be working with customers. This was ridiculous. I was in today 10/10 at 3:32pm, transaction or register...
Read moreI ordered lunch for myself and a coworker as a thank you for helping me when I had a car trouble. I ordered a poâboy (pictured), gumbo, and the blue corn tortillas and hummus. The gumbo and hummus were delicious. I was less than impressed with the poâboy and when I called to ask if that was the size of the size of the sandwich with the managerâs special as it was my first time having Jasonâs Deli. Their answer was yes which was fine. I also expressed my dissatisfaction with how the sandwich looked. I described the poâboy, with the rolled up piece of whatever meat, 1 slice of salami and the toppings thrown on there, I was told thatâs how the sandwich is, sloppy. I expected a little more. My coworker ordered the BLT which I was unaware came with an egg which was apparently over easy as it leaked through the sandwich and was all over the container. At least wrap it in foil. They also got my drink wrong and my coworkerâs chips wrong. I mentioned be drink and said they would refund me the $1.50. I didnât realize the chips were wrong until after. Again, the gumbo and hummus were chef kiss however and I would come back just...
