Picklemans has long been a favorite for salads and sandwiches for us. After the trip in tonight to grab a couple of salads, I will definitely be rethinking my stop next time. I walked in the door about 9:25 and asked if they were still open because it looked like they were in the process of cleaning a lot of things up and no one was inside. I was told they were open till 10 and they were happy to help me by one person so I walked back to place an order of my two salads and the girl that took my order was visibly upset immediately when I ordered the salads because she had already cleaned everything. She started to unwrap the ingredients, pausing in between each ingredient to put her hands on her temples and sigh. After several minutes, she had put the lettuce in the bowl and still had not unwrapped any other ingredients. Another couple walked in with their children behind me and wanted to know if they were open and they were told that they were. After a couple minutes standing there, the wife behind me made the remark that the girl who was making my salad was mad about something. I told her that I think she was upset because I had ordered salads and she had already wrapped everything up and put it away and she also stated I thought they were open until 10 PM. The other person working noticed the time that it was taking to prepare the salads and came down and started helping the girl unwrap ingredients. She ended up scooping out all of the ingredients for the second salad And have those ready to go before the first salad was put together. When I asked the cash register when the salads were finally complete what time they typically start cleaning up if they don’t close until 10 I was told that sometimes 8 PM and other times 9 o’clock. If the hours are until 10 PM, they should expect to have customers wanting to order food up until shortly...
Read moreI recently ordered delivery through their website and go hit with a whirlwind of poor customer service.
I got a message from the delivery driver saying “I’ve arrived. When I checked, nobody was at my door. I responded asking where they were at. They sent another message saying “I’ve arrived”. I once again asked where but got no response.
I called the store and the person I spoke with didn’t really seem to care. She kept saying I live close and could just come get a new one. I explained that I paid for delivery and tipped so that doesn’t fully solve the issue.
She then stated that their orders go through a 3rd party, UberEats. I said, ok so do we need to contact them to get it handled. She said “sure” and hung up.
I attempted to contact UberEats but couldn’t because I didn’t have an active or past order with them due to ordering through Pickleman’s website.
I called back again explaining I couldn’t personally handle the issue because I didn’t technically order through UberEats and they did. She stated she couldn’t find the order on her systems. I eventually said can I just get a refund for the order somehow. She said “yeah, sure” and hung up on me again.
We called back a 3rd time that night asking about the refund and if it was started because she stated earlier she couldn’t even find my order. She said yes and she said it would be up to 10 days to receive it.
This didn’t track well so we waited until the next morning and called to speak with a manager. The person stated he also couldn’t find the order and couldn’t do anything but offer a free pizza if we came in to pick it up.
So now, even if I go in to get one, I am out the money for delivery and the tip. $30, no food, and an hour...

There was a girl at the registe, that had an attitude from the very beginning she got an attitude Because they were closing and she obviously was ready to go. As I'm ordering my sandwich informing the worker of everything that I want on my sandwich. One of the girls. Stated. You just need to pay for your food because we're closing.. at that point. I informed her that I did not like her attitude and she should practice or be trained on customer service. Another worker who then became very irate. And start clapping her hands and literally foaming out the mouth. She went so far as to come-from-behind The counter calling me every name but my own. Clapping her hands and coming ing towards me aggressly. The manager came from behind the counter approaching me instead of calming her employee down, a telling me l, I needed to leave as if I was the aggressor. I am starting at this level with my complaint as it was Sooo much more to tell just not enough space to do so. I've been going to the location for 5 years and haven't had any complaints until now. . The age definitely made a difference and the manorism showed they were young showiing a lack of customer service and professionalism. My complaint doesn't stop here.
