Over the past few months, I’ve had to start checking my order before I drive away. I started doing this because twice in a row it was wrong once I got home and opened my box to eat. I’m not sure why but every time either the slaw is missing or the toast is missing or the extra sauce I paid for is missing. Last night it was late and dark. Been a long day. So I quickly opened my box at the window and could see everything appeared to be in the box. Got home and found the chicken was badly burned. Why on earth would they serve that? And my cup of slaw looked half eaten. I love Guthries and keep going back for more but good grief. I just picked at the chicken, ate what was left in the cup of slaw and went to bed. Perhaps it’s just this particular location. I’ve mentioned it before to them but I don’t think anyone working there really cares. And that’s okay but they’re sending a bad message out to...
Read moreI ordered 2 box meals and when I was handed my meals bagged up to go when I had told her it was for dine-in . As I sat down to eat I opened my order & both plates there were only 5 chicken fingers that were smaller than my pinky finger. I returned them to the counter and showed the employee at the counter. The younger girl that had made the comments earlier turned around toward the drive thru and said something again. I asked for the manager the lady at the front counter that she was the manager and that she was going to say...

I seriously regret it and might take what's left back to the restaurant and demand my money back. I should have spent the 38 bucks at KFC and gotten a much better value. The chicken fingers were small and dry and not much better than Hardee's chicken fingers, which are the worst. The Texas toast, which my wife was really looking forward to, was ruined by being disgustingly salty. There's no excuse for that. Admittedly, the fries weren't bad and you get a lot of them for the deal, the coleslaw was really good, the Guthrie's sauce is pretty good, too, and the gallon of sweet tea was good and a nice part of the deal. However, these are all small parts of the equation.
Since posting this review, I've discovered that Zaxby's chicken fingers...
