Dunkin' — Restaurant in Orange City

Me and my friend drove through here two days ago to find out the drive through was packed around the side of the entire miniature parking lot which was ok and would still maintain my 5 star until the line didn’t move for a consecutive 4 minutes at least. Keep in mind there were approximately 10 cars in line, not even counting the people behind us waiting to enter the drive through. Knowing me, I’d keep my review at a 4 star maybe a 3 at that point but that’s a little excessive. This is all until we decided to park near the location so we could dine in and/or takeout from the inside. So we go ahead and walk on into this Dunkin/BaskinRobbins looking simply for some breakfast. Customer service was extremely poor. There were zero signs of positivity inside although it was busy so i will give them that. Knowing me at that point the overall rating would maintain its 3 star. A guy behind the counter slightly yelled over to us in a (rude tone) asking us if we were going to get a drink. We said no and we assumed he asked because there weren’t many people preparing drinks so maybe he wanted to get them ready in advance. At that point we weren’t unsatisfied but we were slightly unpleased with the overall customer service here at the ever so popular ‘Dunkin Donuts’. One would think that staff is trained very well to always maintain their smile and treat customers with the most respect as possible. It wasn’t until we got to the register when another star dropped. The lady who attended us began to have a back story with another employee behind the counter concerning my $100 dollar bill who they laughed while checking out for about 20 seconds as there was a line with about 5 more families behind me and a packed drive through. Got a cold croissant and poor customer service as a whole. I did although return earlier today when it was less busy and it does look like overall the staff can vary from well trained to extremely poorly trained. I’d like to bring my rating up to a 4-5 star again because this location fits my needs very well. Thank you for your service, but simply take a moment to train your staff better. Place is clean and I really hate to leave a bad review.. but my friend and I left really irritated and just disappointed. I usually love coming here and it’s been a while since we last were so I’m not sure how much changed behind the scenes. We were really looking forward to the bucket of munchkins that was just released and the lady that was taking our order informed us they were out of munchkins (which was fine, stuff happens). The problem was with the rest- I would’ve been fine getting just the bucket with some doughnuts to tear up since we were going to share it as a birthday treat. She put the bucket back and asked if we just wanted regular doughnuts which we said were fine and agreed just one each since she put the bucket back. We were going to order the pumpkin and vanilla sprinkle.. but she jumped to assumptions and just grabbed two glazed instead. (Neither of us really like glazed :( so they went untouched…) We were also waiting for a few minutes before she asked if we were waiting for the drinks before telling us we’re supposed to the other counter to pick up the drinks instead of letting us know when we placed the order. (We usually go through drive thru, which is why we didn’t know for the pick up counter) I don’t think one of our drinks were placed right either since they brought out an iced latte which no one claimed and had to ask what I ordered to make the drink. Was really upset when one of the managers or employee's (Puerto Rican woman with the sides of he head shaved) brought her very pleasant kids (two girls and a boy)into the store to sit down in the dining area whike she said she was doing paperwork in the back...one of the girls who looked to be 5 asked he if she could get a notebook out of the car and this employee berated this little girl and said she was going to beat her a* for asking a question. She said she could go get the notebook and as she was walking back into the kitchen sge bragged to the other employees that she was going to beat all their f$@%ing a**'s like it was just normal business. I was appalled because my two kids were sitting there too and couldn't imagine talking like that to them, none the less be an employee and saying those things in front of customers. I hope you read this who ever you are, you're an abomination. You're vile and the lowest of the low. Ill make sure the proper people know who you are and what you are. You dont deserve to work there or be those awesome kid's parent. Get...
