Poor overall experience. The one star is generous. With inflation, it appears this restaurant has not only raised prices but lowered the quality of the product it serves. The chicken in the Pollo Guisado consisted mostly of liver pieces, bone fragments and very little actual meat. An example of cutting corners. Management was not interested in feedback. When I asked for a manager and was able to speak to her I explained that the meal was not up to par as I stated above there was very little to no meat at all and I further stated that they are not the only Latin restaurant in the area and her response to me was " well then go eat there". Completely not interested in correcting the issue nor open to feed back! is the economy so good that they can afford to lose a customer?! I would encourage you to seek another Latin restaurant option.

I Love to go there!!!

They are located in the Saxon Blvd. in Deltona, FL!

The quality of the food is always on point and fresh. The service is always friendly and welcoming... The employees are bilingual (English and Spanish) so, you will not have problems with the lenguage barrier. All the employees are more than happy to help and explain to you any question that you might have food related.

I ordered a family meal for 5, which includes, 2 1/2 pound of pork and/or chicken, two large rice (I choose 2 different style of rice), includes also, 2 sides of your choice (I get the tostones and the fries..borh of this items, they make it fresh to order, so you will have to wait a little for them). I order as well, the guineitos en escabeche, which are a must try in the puertorrican food. And, sometimes I order the mofongo as well which is pretty tasty too...

All the food is really tasty, and, well prepare. They have several options of rice, sides, meats and drinks... and don't forget the desserts which are good too.

The meal deals are at really good prices, and the portion of food that they gave you is plenty of food, also, includes a drink of your choice.

The restaurant is nice. Clean tables, chairs and counters, organize seating area, plenty of space to seat, the bathrooms are clean, and the menu is easy to read, and understand.

The parking have plenty of space, in front and in the back of the building, with handicapped parking really easy at the entrance of the restaurant.

The restaurant is located close to a few shopping centers, Walmart, other restaurants, a few pharmacy stores, several gas stations, and, very accesible to the highway as well. Very easy to find if it's your first time going there.

I highly reccomend this restaurant to anyone, who wants to try really authentic puertorrican food in the Deltona area. Or, even someone who lives in Deltona, or surrounding areas, that are craving for good, fresh and homemade tasty food!... Believe my you won't regret it! You will...

Edit -still good after all these years (end of edit) - My mother usually doesn't enjoy the food any place we take her. After eating at Lelo's she told her sister, my Aunt, that she wanted to lick the plate. Everything we've had to eat there has been exceptional. Tonight we had the half chicken dinner with two sides and as much as you want to drink for $8.49. Not only was the food great, but they give you such huge portions, that it doesn't matter how big of an eater you are, you most likely will have food to take home. The tostones are made fresh, and I mean fresh. They are excellent. They have been very busy every time we have been there except tonight because we got there close to closing time. I will say that they start cleaning up and wanting to close at 10 p.m. if you are planning on dining in you should probably plan to get there early enough to finish your meal by 10 p.m. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant appears to be well organized, and clean. In fact, tonight as we were leaving the man was slopping sudsy water all over the floor of the entire restaurant. He had a scrubber machine to scrub the floor clean with the sudsy water. I asked if they use the machine every night and he said once a week they use the scrubber. I know restaurants mop the floors every night, but I've never heard of any that scrub their floors ever, let alone once a week. By the way, there are two storefront one is Lelo's BBQ with the traditional Puerto Rican dishes, and the other is Lelo's fish and subs with Puerto Rican fish dishes and subs. We have not tried the fish and Subs yet. We looked at their menu and our mouths watered, but we were too full from next door to try anything. $8.49 for a half of a chicken, two big sides, and a refillable drink is very reasonable. This is not fast food, but you can get it fairly quickly. I can't imagine anybody going...

My first time was March 25th 2023! My father comes here majority of time whenever he visit the area! My First time coming here the place was big and filled with tons of chairs and tables! The line gets super packed during the Afternoon time and Evening Time!! I ordered White Rice with Beans and Roast Pork majority of the time whenever i eat at spanish hot food places! The Food was Amazing!!!! The Quality is Spot on! Looks like the same thing you buy at Bravos Supermarket, Fresco, and other Spanish Markets! Taste? The taste was really great! White rice was Cooked at perfection time, The beans were tasty giving me some Chef Boyadree Tomato Sauce Vibes! and the Roast Pork was Juicy, Tender, And ripping good!! Price came out $13.00 (TaxIncluded all together) For $13 - $14 It is not worth the price number... HOWEVER! The Food Quality and Tasty food is Worth the $13 - $14! The reason at first i said its not worth it is because You can find the same meal i gotten for $6 - $8 with the SAME portion size. BUT if you want to spend a extra $5 or $4 for Greater Perfection Quality Puerto Rican Food?? Then This place is the best!!! This is my 2nd time coming here as of today! (April 27th 2023) Recommand everyone to try it out and 1000000000000000000 Star Rating!!!!

There isn't much to say about a place that is as straightforward as Lelo's. Perhaps the best one can manage is that it nearly perfect in every way that it intends to be. The menu is simple, the food is well made, and the flavors are everything you would expect for a location somewhere more exotic than Orange City. There are really two restaurants here, with the fish and sandwiches located directly next door to the BBQ. Both are extraordinary, and it really depends on your appetite that day as to which door you should pass. Today, I had the mofongo with chicken, along with their seafood salad. Both are about as authentic as you can find outside of their countries of origin, and that is from presentation all the way down to flavor. For $8.99, you can fill yourself in a way that's far more satisfying than a local hamburger, and you get the chance to experience a culinary tradition that isn't Americanized ethnic food. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, and if you ever find yourself at exit 111 on I-4, the right thing to do would be to stop, loosen your belt, and prepare to eat until you absolutely can't anymore.

I was introduced to Lelo’s by my nail tech, and I fell in love! So naturally I had to take my family. And they were not disappointed! Only real issue was that the food ordered from the Lelo’s Fish side took awhile to come out. 5 of us had dinner. 2 of the 3 who ordered from the fish side got their food first, the 3rd plate came 5 minutes later. And the hostess who didn’t know who’s order it was walked the food to 2 different tables (and placed it down in front of others) before bringing it to us. My aunt was so hungry and aggravated that she decided to keep the food. Restaurant staff etiquette is knowing that when there is a mix-up, you can’t place food in front of strangers and then expect the actual person who ordered to eat it. Very unsanitary. This issue is why I’m not giving 5 stars. We ordered food from both sides. The mofongo with chicken was delicious! The 1/2 chicken with 2 sides was a great deal! The fish was fresh and seasoned nicely. The cheesesteak sandwich was awesome. Everyone truly enjoyed their dishes. I highly recommend stopping by.
