This is a review based on my experiences coming in various times. O’Haras is the hometown bar that you either have heard about or been to if you’re a resident of Orange. They open at 12p daily and might open earlier on Sunday for sports. They don’t sell food but welcome outside food if you get hungry. The drinks are stiff and the prices are fair. I was ecstatic to see they reopened after Rona. It was awesome to see the friendly faces who work here and come here. I recommend you come check it out if you’re in town. Staff is friendly and people treat you how you want to be treated. They got a Touchtunes jukebox for your listening pleasures 🤠🤙

Every time I’ve gone has been a great experience with the exception of when Chris is working. That’s the only reason I have to knock a couple stars off. That guy gets oddly annoyed serving people drinks and gets off on being rude to people, especially screaming like an idiot when the bar is closing. The rest of the staff I’ve met there (especially Zack, who’s awesome) and the regulars have been great. I recommend checking it out but just don’t order your drinks from Chris if he’s at the bar.

Pretty cool little Irish dive in the circle, friendly crowd the music can change based on who's at the juke box. It's got 3 pool tables in the back so if you don't want to wait youre gonna have to show up earlier. Drinks were average not too strong but tasted pretty good. Reasonably priced for an OC bar

On Friday 6/24 I got there around 1am knowing I still had time to make it for last call since they closed at 2am. The place was busy enough to fill the bar area and pool tables. My friend and I got drinks at the bar and sat at our booth up until 1:30am. The bouncer and a couple other people started yelling for people to close out their tabs, and for people to gather their things to start leaving — not just once, but repetitively for about 5 minutes. I get it since they were closing soon. Not until one of the guys yelling started to grab my friends drink as she was drinking it did we say something. He continues to grab our beverages as he tells us to “hurry up” or “drink faster.” My boyfriend then says to the bouncer “don’t you close at 2?” And the bouncer says “no we’re closing now” bf: “then why does it say everywhere else that it’s 2am?” The bouncer then walks away and continues to yell “everyone get out now”. We finish our drinks and leave.

Safe to say we won’t be...

The Bar: Crowded. 15 or so seats on the bar, with a few booths against the wall making it difficult to navigate through when it's busy. Lot's of dĂŠcor. Football is loved here. If you already have your drinks, hanging toward the back is a better choice, much more open.

The Crowd: Mostly young adults from the local Chapman University. Overall friendly environment.

Service: We're guessing, slow, if this is your first time here. We were served almost immediately upon entering, but we are also local to this establishment. Prices: $3.75 bottle domestic. No PBR. Entertainment: 3 pool tables, bar top video game, internet jukebox. Restroom: Nasty. Definitely a dive bar! Bartender: Crazy red headed dude named Kendall, he puts all the Irish in this bar. Closing statement: Originally, we were headed to The Salty Dog, which is apparently closed on Saturday night. Since we've never wrote an official review on O'Hara's, so the night worked...

Came here on St. Patricks Day, it was really fun all night until the end of the night. The staff seemed very stressed, especially one of the bouncers. I was literally standing talking with my friends when last call was made and the bouncer who I referred to earlier - who was about 6'7" 300 lbs - dragged me away from them, tackled me and assaulted me repeatedly. I have a black eye, bruises and scrapes all over my body. It looks like someone beat me with a baseball bat. I could easily press charges for assault and battery. There were many people watching who all agree that this was completely unwarranted. This is a fun place I've been there many times, just be careful I guess especially if you see an very large, aggressive, barking bouncer. If I wasn't also a relatively large guy he could have actually injured...
