Listen, I never thought I'd be the type of person to get genuinely excited about fast food that's actually good for you, much less leave a review, but here we are. Wahoo's Fish Tacos in Orange Circle has officially converted our entire family from past, drive-thru degenerates into wild-caught fish evangelists.
Let's talk about that fish – it's wild caught, which means it probably had a better life than most of us, swimming free in the ocean instead of being trapped in a cubicle. The difference is real, and your taste buds (and health) will thank you for making the upgrade from whatever “mystery protein” lurks in most other fast-food joints.
But it's not just the food that hooked us (see what I did there?). This Orange Circle location has that perfect California vibe that makes you feel like you're on vacation even when you're just grabbing lunch between soccer practice, grocery shopping, and surfing. The atmosphere is laid-back enough that you can actually relax, but energetic enough that your kids won't get bored waiting for their food…. They can count the stickers on the wall (genius btw: let’s not put any money into decor but just stick bumper stickers everywhere… and it works!).
Special shoutout to Carmen, who served us with such genuine sweetness that we're pretty sure she's also a part-time Disney princess and just naturally radiates good vibes. In a world where customer service often feels like customers are an inconvenience, Carmen made us feel like welcomed guests at her beach house.
The real test? Our pickiest eater (who shall remain nameless but rhymes with "my teenager") actually asked to come back. That's basically a globally accepted, five-star Michelin endorsement.
Wahoo's has cracked the code on making healthy food that doesn't taste like punishment. Who knew that choosing the better option could actually be the more delicious option too?
Bottom line: Great fish, great vibes, great service. Carmen for employee of the month. We'll be back faster than you can say...

We love daily and weekly specials. Especially in summer 🌞 time. 2025 has been a tasty year so far:)) Such a wonderful location.... peaceful and delicious. Fish tacos and black beans original dish. But the Banzai Bowl - it's a mountain of fresh veggies and brown rice topped with grilled fish or tofu is super popular for those with any dietary issues. Their fish tacos are legendary, and the Classic is my go-to. The fish is always perfectly grilled, and the cabbage mix adds a nice crunch. Sigg the pico de Gallo & salsa station near soda fountain machine.
Their drinks are top-notch too! They have a very unique ice packed chest into counter next to cash register with Mexican beers and sodas...has water, teas And other options. But the real star is the patio. It's huge, open, and surrounded by trees, like a cathedral of sunshine. There's always a nice breeze, and it's the perfect place to chill after a meal.
The staff are always super friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make sure everyone feels welcome, especially people with disabilities. I've seen them help people with wheelchairs and walkers, and they always do it with a smile. I'm 1 of them:))

Read moreI'd say this place is okay. I wasn't disappointed nor was I impressed with the chicken tortilla soup and fish taco. However, I know some people that would like the food here so I'll describe what I got.
The chicken tortilla soup was tomato based and it was refreshing, couldn'treally taste the chicken. When I think chicken tortilla soup, I think if something more hearty which is what I would have liked to have during the cold weather.
Now for the fish taco, it may have been overly breaded/fried. Or maybe it was lacking in fish. Either way, their green sauce was actually REALLY good so when I bathed my taco in it, it tasted better.
Things to note: Parking is a tad bit difficult to find as you have to find one on the street. Atmosphere is good. Plenty of outdoor seating, and the servers...
