Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Oregon City

I’m not one to leave negative reviews or reviews in general but I felt my experience needed to be communicated. The staff is great here at this location and really helpful. The pizza is always tasty when we order. The pizzas are always made in a timely fashion.

One thing I would ask though is; PLEASE don’t just pick the toppings off if you accidentally add something that’s not supposed to be there.

I was waiting my turn in the front of the restaurant. Looking around at my surroundings. When I noticed they were putting BBQ sauce on a pizza. I thought to myself, “yay my pizzas are being made”. Then I watched two ladies picking at the cheese. Now, from afar I was thinking, “well they could be making it look pretty.” But I wanted to be sure so I walked up slowly and just kind of peaked over the glass. They were picking the bacon off the pizza. I was a little disappointed because my boyfriend is allergic to pork. And that made me worried about today’s visit but also future visits. I think either the girls noticed I saw or they realized it’s hard to pick out all the pieces, and they tossed it all back on the top of the pizza. I made my way back to my seat. I didn’t want to Hoover or make a scene. I watched them set the pizza on a counter behind them (I think) and then hopefully remade my pizza (I think). The girls were beginning to make more eye contact with me after. And I could tell they were stressed and annoyed that it happened. Or maybe that I saw them. Maybe a bit of both. I was really worried though after that though, or even the possibility that I thought they remade it but actually didn’t. Ya know? When I got the pizza, I looked at it. I mildly mentioned; Nice, no bacon. My boyfriend is extremely allergic to pork. I appreciate it. The girl looked kind of annoyed and said “have a good night”. I just wanted to give her one last chance to speak up if it was the same pizza. Last thing either of us needs is someone dying from Anaphylactic shock because it was inconvenient to make another pizza.

And to be fair; it was a busy Friday night. I get it. You have 4 or more pizzas coming down the line. You just realized you added bacon to a pizza that says NO BACON. Pretty inconvenient and accidental. I totally get it. BUT also think about the people that could be severely allergic to something and ask for it not to be on there.

Grabbed a few pizzas for dinner with the sides and utilized their discount; when buying two or more sides you get them two for 10. I selected the family favorite, a cheesy bread, then we tried a new option to mix it up, an Italian style salad, which was fantastic. I also tried for the first time a stuffed pizza and I got the meat lovers. It's loaded with five different meats in it and also it's a double layered Pizza which is essentially a pizza-style calzone... Fantastic! I do recommend it and I will be having it again. (Just be sure you pay attention to the directions as the stuffed pizzas cook at 350 degrees not 425 so don't burn your beautiful Pizza.) Great staff here at the Oregon City location, looking forward to seeing them again when I welcome their amazing assistance with a delicious dinner when we grab take-out Take-n-Bake, big bad & beautiful pizza(s) home to the Fam again as soon as possible. Ordered 2 family pizzas and they accidentally charged me for large I didn’t think anything of it because the pricing seemed right but they did seem small I honestly didn’t think much of it at all until I got home and realized that the pizzas were substantially smaller and that the prices were way higher I would have never paid 17 dollars for a large pizza Id atleast have gotten the family size and that’s what I ordered then they just tell me that’s what the price is instead of telling me they can do something to fix it Normaly family size costs less then how much I was charged for two pizzas that are small as hell pretty upset because the price litteraly changed and there was no discloser so when my order was messed up the price seemed right but the size was way smaller I even used a coupon and it still seemed way more expensive...
