Day: Wednesday // Time: 5pm

First time diners at Luckie's. I had looked at the menu the night before and was impressed by the number of choices - one thing they had that I'll always try is breaded mushrooms. I was very happy with these at Luckie's - big and beer battered, not the tiny, tasteless examples you find elsewhere. Comes with ranch dip. I asked for some horseradish, which if you mix just a snip of it in with the ranch, is divine on most anything!

We ordered burgers - my son got the brown sugar/Worcestershire burger. I tasted the meat and it was very flavorful. I got a basic mushroom swiss, and while it had grill/char flavor, it was pretty plain otherwise. We ordered medium rare (otherwise menu says all come medium well), and I think that request was overlooked because they were definitely not pink in the center as we prefer.

Service was great. We initially sat a table and then moved to a different section because we were there for an event. Our server Brandy was very accommodating, and our questions for her were met with sincere helpfulness. When seated with the group, we had Tiffany as our server who was kept busy with all the requests but she was efficient, and also very friendly.

The decor is as the name of the place suggests... barn, lol. There is a Mailpouch sign above the entryway, and lots of old license plates on the walls. It's cozy and warmly-lit but not so dim like some places that you need a flashlight to see your food.

We definitely will be going back to Luckie's to try other menu items and get more of the mushrooms (yes they're that good). I would recommend...

Let me say this first, ive never had a bad experience at Luckies ever before yesterday! We went on a much needed date night and chose Luckies, BIG MISTAKE! We ordered our favorite pretzels and then moments later our dinners where brought to us, along with the gnats! Gnats swarmed our food and our table, I even knocked over my soda while swatting them. Did the waitress come over, no. I had to stop her and tell her about the gnats, she said she was sorry. I asked for to go boxes, since there was no way we could eat. It was aweful. Moments later i believe it was the manager, she never introduced herself. But she clearly pointed out the red boxes above the soda machine and proceeded to tell me about how they have sprayed and they are taking care of the issue. She seemed to be frustrated with me. Im sorry I didnt bring the gnats with me. As i felt as if she was implying or she was just frustrated with her gnat situation, she was taking it out on me. She didnt offer us a apology. But she was trying to make it very clear they was taking care of the issue. My dinner date was ruined, i had to pay $2.25 for a soda i couldnt drink because i knocked it over swatting gnats. Was i offered to get another soda, no. Did the manager offer to take something off of our bill for the inconvenience of being there for less than 30mins and we couldnt enjoy our meal, no. Im not happy with how our less then 30 minute dinner evening went!!! Im gnat kidding,...

For one the vibe is pretty great. “Barn and grill,” you definitely feel like you’re eating in a barn. The food: my girlfriend got a Reuben, it was burnt for sure, but that just meant she couldn’t eat the crust lol. I had some of her fries and they were great. I got the chicken fried chicken and it was great. Mashed potatoes seemed like they were made in house. The gravy was good and the chicken was definitely a “healthy” portion. lol. Their chicken queso dip app was maybe one of my favorite appetizers I’ve ever eaten from anywhere. I got 2lbs wings to go. I couldn’t finish my food at the restaurant so I got boxes but when I got home I ate all my wings. Medium no breading wings were great. I’m from the east and I love wings. Wings are so simple but so many places around here try to complicate them. Before if I got wings it was from wingstop lol. I worked at a restaurant in Maryland, for a good medium sauce you only need hot sauce and butter in a bucket till it’s the perfect orange then toss the wings. Their wings were definitely just that. I will be getting wings to go more often from this place. Honestly this place was fantastic and glad I went there for...

During our stay in Toledo, we stumbled upon this restaurant nearby our hotel, attracted by its positive reviews. We found ample parking space upon arrival, and the ambiance inside was inviting, with plenty of seating available. The wait staff and servers were friendly and attentive, adding to the pleasant atmosphere. We decided to try the spinach artichoke dip, Cajun chicken, and sake chicken for dinner. The spinach artichoke dip was served hot and paired well with the nachos, providing a tasty start to the meal. The sake chicken was juicy and flavorful, while unfortunately, the Cajun chicken turned out to be a bit dry. Overall, the portion sizes were reasonable, and the prices were fair. If you find yourself in the area and in need of a quick dining option, this place is definitely worth a visit.

This COULD be a super cool hangout, if the manager/waitress wasn’t so uptight and short with us. Just a hard, unnecessary attitude. Lighten up, smile and put out a good vibe! Decor and layout was ideal and wanted hang out for the night. Was going to sit out by the fire pit and have some drinks, than dinner, but the gas line was broke. They did have plenty of customers there. After one watery Long Island, and cold chicken cheese appetizer, we decided to go down street @ .5 miles to dubs. Better atmosphere and more outgoing staff. Drove out of our way to get here off the hwy. oh well… on to the next…
