Just ordered a Wisconsin Mac and Cheese through Uber eats with social distancing in effect so I can't rate the customer service or cleanliness of the location. I ordered a small Mac since in other reviews I assume people purchased regulars for the few dollars more. What I got honestly looks like a side dish. It's really small and does not even fill the bowl. I also got small orders of other dishes and they are the same, but with meat. Yay.... So I get where reviews say it's not worth the price. It's a restaurant so I guess it's expected big it's not "fast food". As far as taste, the basic Mac is, well, basic. Not bad, just not "Wow! Amazing!". The BBQ Pork Mac helps accent the Mac but it's still just okay. The Japanese Pan Noodles with Chicken Breasts was actually good. The noodle seemed thick and the taste reminded me of something simple like Panda Express food. Not authentic but chain food. Not saying that's bad. I'm just describing what it reminds me of. Overall, again, I can't rate the location and staff themselves but for just price alone for portion and quality, I don't think I'll fequent here often. I don't want to complete knock this place off so others may absolutely enjoy this food. I am a fairly picky person and I try a lot of simple foods first or by themselves. So try Noodles and Company out. Maybe the portions for a regular are better, or in the restaurant portion and experience will...
Read moreAt least they are consistent? It seems like every time we come the food is wrong. This time I told the person bringing my food that I had added zucchini to my order. She said yes there is some in there. In front of her I counted 3 tiny pieces and that seemed to satisfy her and she left not telling anyone I indicated this was a problem. We started eating and realized we didn't receive any marinara with our garlic cheese bread. I went up to the counter and an employee that was seated at a table had to come up and ask what they might help with since I had stood there and not been seen for a good minute. I asked if the garlic cheese bread was supposed to have marinara, they said yes, I confirmed we got none. They did quickly go back and grab marinara and as I walked away I mumbled something about the 3 zucchini that didn't get fixed. They followed and we chatted about the amount of zucchini I was given (this is a paid upgrade) and they went and got me additional zucchini. Did they make it right and we end up with the food we wanted? Yes. Was it (finally) tasty? Yes. Did I have to work for it? Yes. Also a little disappointed that the prices have gone up since my last review but now we are eating from take out containers while dining in instead of...
Read moreEver since COVID the noodles and company restaurants have gone downhill. Why? Well because they used to bring you your food in a hot ceramic dish/bowl. Which kept the food hot.
I went to this location and got mac and cheese with meatballs. The meatballs were cold. The noodles were just barely warm. I went to to the counter to ask if they could just heat it up. They said they actually could not take any did back so they would make another one
I did appreciate that they were willing to make thing better, however even the second bowl they made was not up to snuff. The meatballs were finally just under hot but the pasta still was not hot enough imo.
I think it all comes down to serving things on paper now, the heat just escapes
Just like with any restaurant they have gone downhill especially every since COVID, when they started using paper boxes and plastic silverware.
They didn't use cardboard this time but it still wasn't hot ceramic
The quality just is not there anymore
I mean really, just compare the food you got six years ago at places like this to now. It's no match, the quality...
