Dear Papa Murphy's Customer Service,
I’m writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent experience at your 9367 se 82nd ave Happy Valley store. I ordered a Papa’s Favorite pizza and was shocked to find not one, but several black hairs baked into the food. This was not only unappetizing, but completely unacceptable from a hygiene and safety standpoint.
When I called the store to report the issue, I expected a basic level of courtesy and accountability. Unfortunately, the manager I spoke with was extremely rude and dismissive. Rather than apologizing or showing any empathy, he insisted I return to the store in person and “show proof” if I wanted a refund—implying that I might be lying.
I also suggested that staff wear hairnets to prevent this kind of situation, and was surprised to hear that they are not required to do so. For a business that prepares and serves food, that is deeply concerning.
I did end up returning to the store, wasting my time and gas over a mistake I did not make. Only then did the manager shift his tone and offer a refund and some cookie dough. But honestly—after finding hair in my pizza, offering more food from the same kitchen was not a comforting gesture.
This experience was unprofessional, unsanitary, and poorly handled. I hope this feedback encourages your team to review your hygiene practices and customer service training. I also hope no other customer has to go through...

Toppings were wrong and had to be fixed at the store. Also the Mediterranean chicken delite pizza is supposed to be thin crust and we were very disappointed to get it home and realize it was regular.
2nd pizza that supposed to be half Hawaiian & Half Combo is 1/3 Combo and 2/3 Hawaiian. High school kids working here are clearly just working for a paycheck with zero attention to detail.
Lastly, Joe who answered the phone indicated that they would prefer online ordering due to social distancing but if it was "too difficult for me" he could take my order. I'd love to order through the app but the app doesn't give me the option to add jalapenos which is a...
Read moreSo amid the virus craziness I just had what is the most time wasting illogical incident of my life. They refused to do a call in order. All orders must be placed online. I still have to go into the store to get the pizza and pay taking the same amount of time and contact with people so what is the difference? I understand using the virus to better standards. I understand if companies change how business is done but if you are in a contact business and you refuse contact you need to just close not curtail the market place to absurd rules that change nothing. If it wasn't a family order for other we wouldn't have gone here and I...
