Del Taco — Restaurant in Orem

These ladies are The absolute best and by far the quickest service out of any del taco i have ever been to and i frequent del tacos often and through out the state because i am in the construction industry so i am all over the place and it wasnt by chance that i happen to go their on 1 of their better days because at this del taco everyday is a better day! i eat there probably 3 times a week because of the job im doing in the area and because The food preperation is always just perfect! Its exactly the same everyday of the week 24/7 and so cudos to the manager of fhis place who i believe is a woman for putting together such a well oiled machine. I mean it starts from the second you walk in or when they take your order from the drive through with a smile and a happy greeting and they are all so nice and polite and the food is prepared and put together text book perfect nomatter how many people are there and it always tastes as good as it can possibly be and it doesnt matter if there is 4 cars in front of me they move through the cars so fast i have never been there for more than 5 min and i am driving off wirh my food in hand. If your in a hurry at lunch this is where you want to go because you wont find better quicker service anywhere. Every other fast food or restaurant should take a page out of your book bexauae they could all learn from you. I mean i would put this group up against any other group ot crew in a competition and i would bet the dam house the car the truck the boat out front along with the camper and even the fsmiky pet because there isnt a crew of anyrhing that can do what you ladies do day in and day out! The team work is awesome! They definately make me want to come back everytime and if i only have a min or two to spare to grab something to eat thsn its a no Brainer because you csn bet your ass these ladies will not disappoint in anyway. They put a smile on mg face every tims because of what they do and how they do it. Anyway to the employees at this location... You guys are just freaking amazing and i appreciate all of your hard work and dedication to your job and for doing your jobs so dam good! Thank you! I wouldn't have give it any stars,If i didn't want everyone to know how unprofessional and unacceptable this del Taco on Orem state street is! Not only did I not get my money back or even offered replacement, I was accused of pulling my order out of the dumpster and was treated very poorly, I never complain, I don't make a habit of trying to get my money back at stores, but this was an exception I felt that paying $22 for two Taco salads with only had a few tiny beef chunks a few shredded cheese parts and one tiny tortilla chip and no dressing was not cool and I just wanted the very least to have store credit or a refund! I have never had anybody or anywhere in my life sell me a giant styrofoam tray full of lettuce and call it a taco salad and then charge that much money for it, the manager on duty at the time, was very unhelpful and wouldn't do anything to replace or anything ,so I followed the chain of command up to the manager of that store and she told me that she wasn't going to do it ,she felt I had pulled it out of the dumpster and that I should have addressed it at the time it happened and I did but it was 3:00 in the morning , drive through is the only thing open and when I called it rang off the hook and no one answered, I didn't think they were going to give me any problems, so I saved the receipt and the salads and took it all in the following morning, just a few hours later and was treated the worst I've ever seen or been treated in my entire life , and if that isn't bad enough, I called their head corporate office, left several messages and nobody contacted me or return my phone calls at all! Honestly they should be shut down!and I wouldn't recommend going there, I would have been better off eating out of the dumpster! I love feeding the family for $20! And the boys love the playland. BUT! I hate having to be so extremely exact and alert when ordering. My kid ordered a quesadilla. The cashier didn't ask about a kids meal, so we had to get that straightened out. I have had this trouble ordering kid's meals before, so I just know to be REALLY EXACT. Then, disappointingly, only a bottle of water comes with the kid's meal... well, it is healthier, so whose arguing, really... the grumpy/hungry kids, that's who! Meanwhile, a person has to have good eyesight to find the Kids Meal option on the menu in the first place, then to read the fine print regarding entree options and what other things are included. My husband ordered the Grilled Chicken Wet Burrito, the cashier repeated the order back as just a chicken burrito, so my husband had to correct that, then said he'd like a drink. The cashier said- "This isn't a combo meal so there's no drink." So, of course, my husband responded- "Add a drink, I'd still like a drink." Oh! These folks lack common sense and training! Mostly training. The service is gimpy. Sometimes they are friendly, sometimes act like they are in too big of a hurry or like we are messing up their day. Why come back? Why give them THREE STARS?
