FRUSTRATED...!!!

I have been a customer for over 8 years, able to see their business growth, unfortunately the quality of their food in occasions very poor, including short handed personnel all the time, couple servers, 1 chef to attend customers its becoming an issue.

For the last year or so regardless the hour or date it takes longer than usual to get your food served in your table. In occasions food was served cold or not hot enough including lack of ingredients. With 2 servers running back and forth to assist customers the best they can, literately you can't ask for anything else, they are to busy helping other customers they can't even look up to see if you need anything else, you must wait for an opportunity before they can help you again.

If the owner (Manager) whoever he is, is not there preparing our Sushi, our food will be most likely served poorly, lack of presentation and most of all, lack of ingredients.

Yesterday Tuesday 09th, we were there 6:30 PM to celebrate my wife's B-day, 8 of us waited about 10-15 minutes to be seated normal for a group that size, waited another 10-15 minutes to have some one to take our order. the server offered an apology for the wait and apology was accepted but we were told that Sushi orders will take 30 minutes if not longer, to many sushi orders for one chef. If I would known as soon as we arrived prior asking for a table, things could go different and may be willing to wait as long was needed but we were hungry and we didn't have plans to wait that long.

Last time we waited over 1 1/2 hour prior getting food in our table

We were force to leave, the server very politely excused her self but she could tell us that when we first arrived before making us all upset.

It takes time to make a customer, minutes to loose one..!!

I hope next time, If I go back will be a better...

I really want to give this place 5 stars because the food is very good, but the service makes it impossible to do so. We've been here several times, hoping that we'd just caught them on a bad night, and it seems that we're disappointed more and more each time. I can't tell if it's just because they're short staffed or what, but the last time we came in there were several dirty tables with dishes piled on them that didn't get cleaned up in the hour we were there. One member of our party ordered sushi and didn't see it come out the entire time we were there. We held off asking about it because, again, they seemed short staffed, only to find out when everyone else had eaten that the order form got thrown away. We were offered a card for a small sushi roll as an apology when we went to pay our check.

At another visit we only saw our waitress a few times and small requests had to be repeated several times (things like asking for a plate for our toddler or for napkins). Actually, the repeated requests have happened every time.

If you don't mind poor service, then know that the takoyaki is one of our favorite appetizers, and that the katsudon is very good. The bulgogi also has great flavor and I love that they...

Overall delicious food and good service! If you’re looking for Japanese food and some pretty good sushi, this is a great option!

I ordered the sushi and gyoza combo, it was a great price (13.49$) for that as well as a small salad, miso soup, and a bowl of rice as well included. My family ordered the beef bulgogi and two yakisoba dishes (not pictured). Portions were really good for the price. The yakisoba flavors could have been more prominent in the yakisoba.

The gyoza and sushi combo is served with the Cali roll, but I upgraded to the Yamato roll which was amazing and delicious. The tuna and salmon on my sushi were not as fresh as you might get elsewhere, but overall I enjoyed it and would eat their sushi again. The gyoza was delicious and moist, but nothing that especially stood out flavor wise.

Atmosphere: The atmosphere is quite nice and relaxing, nice, dim lighting which makes it a calm environment. They have regular tables as well as traditional Japanese kneeling tables. We unfortunately did not get to sit there because they were all full. Our server was wonderful!
