Kevin with the pink in thier hair, needs to be fired: plain and simple. It’s October 13, and I understand the location is busy, but that is no excuse for the behavior presented by this employee. The situation: There is no line direction, even with the predicted rise in demand for today, there is no structure for the line so it is wrapping around the main lobby area and ended and started near the cash registers/pick up I slipped behind the gentleman that was last in line and Kevin came and nearly barked at me to stay off the gray, which was understandable since it was edging the corner of the counter, I calmly and genuinely asked where the line should go, and he snap and pointed to the door and told me Ina very rude tone “shoo! Get out! Leave!” I tried again to calmly ask where he would like me/the line to go and he just responded “leave!” I tried once more and he said “idk its not usually busy” then told me to go….? I asked for his name and he said “ I have things to do “ and left the person in front of me in line looked gobsmacked and even apologized, sharing that Kevin had been really rude and snapped at him and the woman in front of him aswell. We ended up asking another employee for Kevins (with the pink hair) name, and both noted it down.
This isn't a Karen moment I promise, just a very shocking experience with an employee making many people very uncomfortable or in my case making me feel weirdly hollow and chewed out for taking a place in line.
Luckily I had ordered the doughnuts before hand so I was able to quickly take the doughnutsbto the back of the store and my sons happy smile brought me out of the bummer rut this had put me in….
I understand some people don't do well under stress, but you also never know what the person you snap at is going through either.
While writing this I actually just had a gentleman ( other customer) come up to my son and I and apologize for Kevin, asked of I could find the manager, and expressed that he had never seen an employee ever act that way before. I thanked him for having my back (anxiety- yay) and he reassured me that I did nothing wrong and that Kevin was being rude to multiple people and shouldn't be talking that way to any one - customer or no, no one should be talked to that way
His confirmation was the push I needed to actually...
Read moreTerrible service, restaurant has really gone down hill since these new franchise owners took it over years ago. I stopped going for that reason but I thought I would give it a couple more tries and was again very disappointed.
I arrived there 30 minutes after they had opened and waited in line with 2 cars in front of me that had already ordered. I ordered 2 dozen of their signature glazed doughnuts. They told me that I would have to wait “45 minutes or so” to receive glazed doughnuts and I would have to order some more expensive doughnuts. I did order some other doughnuts figuring that if they didn’t have the ones I wanted they would discount the others due to it being their fault they couldn’t provide what the customer wanted. They did not after waiting an additional 20 minutes close to an hour I left with doughnuts I really didn’t want in the first place and paid more for them. I wrote a complaint to the corporate office 4 months ago asking for a contact back to explain further my bad experience with very poor customer service and have not to this day heard anything from Krispy Kreme. This location corporate office has continued to disappoint me and has in turn Destroyed my faith, desire to waist any money on their company at all.
Daylight doughnuts in Pleasant Grove and other doughnut shops around the area have taken good care of me and offer above and beyond...
Read moreSo, (almost) everyone loves donuts... But there is just something to extra special, about the Krispy Kreme donuts... They seem to be made better. And our lighter and fluffier. There is nothing wrong with the donuts from the grocery store, but, the donuts I ordered from here were just a little bit better.
I decided to be nice to the cashiers that I work with, and so I bought them a dozen donuts; I also bought a dozen donuts, for some of my other coworkers... And while I was there, I got a cinnamon bun latte.
I have the app, and on the app it gave me a coupon, for buy a dozen donuts, and get a dozen for a dollar.
I set it up for pickup, and it went relatively well. But, when they handed me my order, they didn't pay attention to that I had also ordered the cinnamon bun latte. ... So, they did what they could to make it. But, there were a few issues with the machine, so I ended up waiting a few minutes, for them to get everything sorted out. Don't get me wrong, the cinnamon bun latte was quite amazing, and I was impressed by how great it was, but a little disappointed that it wasn't ready on pickup, and that I had to wait.... Even though I had pre-ordered a few hours in advance.
All in all, I'll be sure to visit this location again, and I will probably order the cinnamon bun latte again, but I'm slightly disappointed that they forgot about it from my...
