I was so happy that this place opened since I love their slushees. I haven’t had issues until today. There was a miscommunication on my part since I ordered incorrectly. Next time, I need to specify that I want a strawberry coconut slushee and not a strawberry coconut milk tea. As soon as I saw that the 2 drinks were tan color and not the pink color I am used to ordering, I realized I had ordered incorrectly. I asked the girl I didn’t want my untouched and unopened drinks and asked if I can replace them for the slush instead and do an even exchange. She was annoyed that I had ordered incorrectly and then proceeded to charge me for 2 new drinks which I oppose. I told her I do not drink tea and all I wanted was to exchange them for the drinks with no tea. The girl at the desk did not sympathize with me and pointed out that it was my fault that I ordered incorrectly. She went and told the woman at the back making the drinks and they both pointed the obvious and did not want to replace them. She said that “food cannot be returned” which means that I am stuck with the drinks. While I understand that I ordered incorrectly, I did not appreciate their poor customer service. They had no sympathy, they were more worried about refunding me my $5. All I was asking was to replace drinks without the tea. Only after I said that I will write a review that she finally said she will give me 1 complimentary drink. While I appreciated the complimentary drink. I did not appreciate them talking about me amongst themselves in the kitchen either and how they handled the situation.

This won’t stop me from ordering again since their slushee boba drinks are actually good but I did not appreciate their customer service; lack of sympathy, talking amongst themselves and “your fault” attitude. Hallelujah that this place exists!! We tried the regular milk tea with pearls and the dirty milk tea with pearls - both were FANTASTIC! Both are 70% sugar (I like my drinks a bit more on the sweet side).
