Sprout's has the rudest people working there.
My wife and I used to shop here. It is fairly close to our house. The produce is usually fresh and sometimes is on sale so it isn't too expensive.
However the people that work here are extremely rude. One time my wife went there on her own, while being 7 months pregnant, and the person behind the meat counter wouldn't serve her even though he had just served a man in front of her. He even told her she should just go get something from the packaged area, so he obviously saw her there but he wouldn't get what she asked for when that is his job.
That was one bad experience and we came back there since it is close still. However today takes the cake. We all pulled into the parking lot today ready to buy quite a bit of groceries there and as we are parking another car came zooming down the parking lot on our side and stopped right in front of us. We couldn't go forward or hit them and there was no place to park to our right so we stayed there waiting for them to move so we could park.
A manager from sprouts came out and told us we were blocking his customer's and would have to move or he would call the cops. We were not in front of any parked cars that could not get out, there was room to get out we were on the right, the legal driving side and the car right in front of us headed our way was the one at fault.
So overall I would give Spouts as a line of stores not a terrible rating, say a 3 or 4 stars (we have shopped at many other Sprouts before, but this specific one near us I would stay away from at least if you have a pregnant wife with you. They are as rude as can be. Zero Stars. (It makes me put 1, but they don't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSprouts had a major faux pas with my 99-year old friend who previously loved shopping at Sprouts. We forgave them with a second chance. We had a couple of good visits and then last Friday ANOTHER major disappointment! We went to the Deli counter, needing several fresh meats sliced, along with some imported cheese. The time was just barely before 9 pm. The gal behind the counter, Nevaeh, (which is Heaven spelled backward or in other words....) refused to slice the meat and cheese saying she had already cleaned the machine and was not going to clean it again. Shocking, especially since she had a FULL HOUR to clean the machine before the store closes at 10:00. Which begs the question: Why is the Deli not open during ALL store hours??? Is Sprouts so worried they might have to pay an extra dollar for an employee to clean a machine AFTER store hours? Good grief, Sprouts! I think some quality customer service training is in order. Last time you offered us gift cards to come back. That was nice, but repeated poor customer service does NOTHING even if I have a gift card! I would rather drive several miles out of my way and go to Harmons, where quality is their motto! I would rather pay MORE for products and get good service! In addition, a new butcher shop is going in just down the block from Sprouts. Their grand opening is August 9th. I cannot wait to see what customer service and services they offer. I am totally SERIOUS about your staff getting some QUALITY customer service training. Nevaeh certainly needs some!! I was obligated to give you one star to post this comment. Otherwise, you would not have gotten...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to Sprouts in Orem today Sunday September 11, 2022, after 7 pm and I didnāt have a nice shopping experience. The reason is that Sprouts allowed a man carrying a gun to enter their store today. I donāt know what their rules are regarding Gun Safety in the store, but as a customer I donāt feel comfortable shopping around an armed man. The man was wearing a belt and the gun was being publicly displayed while he walked around the store. Also, the man had a huge tattoo of a semi automatic riffle on his arm and was wearing a shirt that read something like this ā Iām a straight shooterā, and other stuff I didnāt finish reading. I did my shopping as fast as I could and got away.
The man was not yelling or Threatening anyone at the moment. But we have shootings everyday, everywhere, including grocery stores. It is safer not to allow guns in grocery stores.Sprouts didnāt have a single security guard either. Anything could have happened. Luckily it didnāt while I was there.
Next time I see an armed person in Sprouts, Iām just going to walk away and not shop there.I donāt think that people with children, minorities and others will feel safe or welcome in Sprouts if this happens more often. There is no reason to bring guns into a grocery store and create unnecessary risk for others. Itās not only about shooting, there are gun accidents too. This was very upsetting. Shopping around an armed person itās not a...
