We had a reservation for 10 people. None of us ever been there but we herd good thing about this place. Our server was Absolutely the best server checking in making sure we were good, didn’t catch his name but he was a younger skinny African American gentleman. Brought us chips salsa water immediately. The food: We gout the guacamole for our chips. This was a one star as I had to take the salt of the drink and use the lime wheel to add more flavor. Moving on to our entrées I can only speak for my self because I didn’t ask anyone how their food was. I got the carne asada quesadilla I was highly upset when I received my mean they charge you an extra 7 dollars to add carne asada but it seemed to be I only got a cheese quesadilla with random carne pieces definitely not worth spending the extra protein charge. The drinks: Oh where do I begin here if I could give negative stars here I definitely would. I started off with a normal mojito it could have used a tad more alcohol but it’s the first drink it was light and refreshing how ever presentation was beautiful. I quickly switched to rum and coke because that’s just what I go to give it a 3 star because it was decent. My friend ordered a Pinot Grigio come to find out they didn’t even have any. I mean it’s a Saturday how does one run out of a wine the management team can run to the liquor store just to have a few bottles on hand. Another friend ordered a Margarita she gave no complaints there another friend ordered a frozen margarita and she stated it was too sweet. This is where it kicks off my friend who was last to arrive ordered a mojito when it came it was full of ice to the rim two sips and it was gone mind you this friend is not a drinker and even she was upset. The management: I kindly asked the hostess to speak to the manager She was in her mid Years african-American lady, with a blue shirt and some jeans. I personally felt if she was a manager, and she was underdressed. She came over and she asked do you wanted to speak to a manager. Felt like she came over with a little bit of an attitude. I explain to her the situation about the drinks not even about the food. It was just about to drinks. And I showed her the cup full of ice and then she proceeded to try and tell me that the bartender was doing his job and serving accordingly. Now forgive me, because not once did I see her behind the bar, watching him make the drinks. But will move right past that she then proceeded to try and tell me how a Mojito was made and honestly I don’t even know why that was even important. Little did she know I am an actual licensed bartender for the past 19 years. I kind of cut her off and tell her I didn’t need the recipe to a Mojito. As she was walking away, she look at the hostess. She kind of shook her head, and I know if I was on the opposite side I could have seen the eye roll . It was straight body language. She even offered to take money off our bill and I told her that wasn’t the purpose of me calling her over but we received our bill. There was no money taken off. We then proceeded to order another round of drinks. And it was the exact same problem after she went and spoke with him behind the bar so we decided to close our checks and leave. The only good experience that we had here was how kind the server was. Everything else totally one star.. I highly do not...

Read moreunderwhelming & overpriced. you get more food at chipotle and it’s still somehow cheaper. we walked in and the host let us know it was busy and it would take a minute to take a seat (probably at 50% capacity but okay). we asked if we can get food at the bar and she said yes!
we venture to the bar and found seats immediately (reference back to the 50% capacity). it took someone about 5 minutes to clear the trash in front of us and about 5 minutes from that someone came by and dropped off waters (no hello, just waters). unsure if that was our server or not since there was no formal introduction, we waited about another 10 minutes before being confronted by a bartender. may i please heavily stress that the bar was at 50% capacity as well. i told my partner that if we had to wait 5 more minutes, then we would leave. the bartender came up with 2 minutes to spare and asked if “we wanted to order something?”.
anyways… we placed our food & drink order all at once. while we were waiting i looked around and saw other tables having chips & salsa. about 10 minutes into placing our order i wondered if we were going to get any. spoiler alert: we did not.
food was delivered and the meat portion was at least on par with a greedy chipotle serving. tortillas? cold. cheese? solidifying. rice & beans? straight out of the fridge. i asked for new rice & beans and continued to devour my petite meal.
i decided it was time to wrap it up and go to the ladies room. wouldn’t you have it; every stall and toilet paper roll was empty. this was about to be my breaking point. i asked them to replace it. a few minutes later i go back to FINALLY relieve myself. after washing my hands i realize… there’s no paper towels. there was a broken paper towel holder that was half wet by the sink.
TLDR; please don’t go here and instead, visit the taco bell cantina a couple blocks over. that’s where we...
