My first experience at the Walt Disney Theater at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts was nothing short of magical. Attending the Bob Dylan concert was a dream come true, and the exceptional service I received only added to the enchantment of the evening.
As a newcomer to the venue, I found myself in a bit of a panic when my ticket purchased through StubHub, arrived in my email just moments before I arrived. However, the staff at the theater were incredibly kind and helpful, guiding me through the process of getting my ticket printed with ease. Their patience and understanding made all the difference, ensuring I made it to the show without any unnecessary stress.
Additionally, the convenience of pre-paying for parking at the nearby City Commons parking garage online days before the event was a thoughtful touch. It allowed me to arrive worry-free and fully immerse myself in the experience without any parking hassles.
The Walt Disney Theater itself is a marvel, boasting a stunning architectural design that only enhanced the magic of the evening. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by its beauty and elegance.
What made this evening even more special was the journey I took to get there, driving 175 miles one way to see the show. Despite the distance, every moment was worth it, and the warmth and hospitality of the theater staff made me feel right at home.
Overall, my experience at the Walt Disney Theater at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts surpassed all expectations. The combination of exceptional service, convenient amenities, breathtaking surroundings, and the dedication of driving a long distance for this event made for an unforgettable evening. I can't wait to return for another performance and create more cherished memories in this truly special place. Thank you to everyone involved for making my night one to remember fondly for...
Read moreWe had an amazing time watching the Lion King @ Walt Disney Center. They offer valet parking which we opted not to take as it would take way to long to get to our car at the end of the show. Around the corner, there was a parking lot that charged $20 and that worked out well. Everything was organized from the time we entered the building until we left. The staff were all pleasant and the patrons looked happy, dressed nicely and were giving great vibes. The restrooms were clean and spacious with multiple stalls and I never had to wait in line. There was someone present to clean and restock. They had a drink/bar with themed cocktails, but be prepared for the costs. You can also purchase your drinks in advance for intermission instead of waiting in line. They had the merch section as well. Both lines were long, but the staff moved efficiently and effectively. Anyway the...
Read moreWent to Sebastian Maniscalco on Dec 29. Convenient parking at City Commons garage which you were able to prepay for. Valet parking appeared to be a disaster- as we arrived for the 10pm show there was still a hoard of people waiting to get their car from the 7pm show. Couldn't believe what a mess that was. Facility is very beautiful and bathrooms very clean. However this is not a great place for anyone with a fear of heights. Every floor outside the theater is glass railings, glass-side staircases etc. The balcony is very steep and very high up- absolutely awful for anyone with a fear of heights. All the screens are low down to the stage also. Would have preferred the screens to be higher up like at the King Center in Melbourne. Would have helped a little with the fear of heights issue and not having to look down the entire time. I will only go here again if I get...
