Super Rico Colombian Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Orlando

I went to the Super Rico Colombian Restaurant last Friday for a birthday meal.

I chose the super bandeja and let me tell me they succeeded. I felt like I was directly transported to Bogota! I was in for a treat.

The Super Bandeja Paisa consisted of white rice, black beans , grilled 80z steak, chorizo sausage, chicharrón, fried egg, avocado, sweet plantains and a mini white arepa. I felt like eating for two , that’s how generous the portions were.

All the different meats were so juicy, flavourful. The chicharrón was nice & crunchy and had some soft tasty fat.

The chorizo sausage had some flavour, I enjoyed bite after bite. The plantains were very sweet, a nice treat for my tastebuds.

The fried egg, black beans, rice, white arepa nicely balanced out the different meats.

The chimichurri sauce gave the different meats some extra flavour. The Sauce was so good, I asked for a second one.

To drink, I had a delicious fresh maracuyá ( passion) juice.

I highly recommend anyone ( tourists or locals ) that is seeking authentic Colombian food 🇨🇴 to pay the restaurant a visit and try their dishes.

I’ll definitely be going back to Super Rico when visiting downtown...

I met a friend here for lunch. It was a choice between this and a taco place down the street, however he had eaten here before and said it was fantastic. This location has only a few seats inside and a few seats outside but the food was definitely worth it. The staff was very friendly and the service was prompt. I had the bandeja paisa as did my friend. Both of them were fantastic. The steak was cooked just right. The black beans had a great flavor as well. I would probably recommend eating inside during the summer since it was a little hot yesterday but all in all it was a great visit and I will definitely be back. The restrooms are clean, the dining areas are well taken care of. Parking is limited but it is in a parking garage so not too hard to find a space.

My rating system consists of a 3-star being exactly what I expected and neither good nor bad. A 4 means something was extra special whether it was service, food, staff, etc., and a 5 means I was blown away. A 2 star rating was disappointing with no offer to correct the experience and a 1-star rating...

Super Rico in downtown is a culinary gem! My experience dining there was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the inviting ambiance and friendly staff. The menu offered a delightful array of dishes that catered to various tastes.

I started with their appetizers, which were a burst of flavors and creativity. The main course was a true highlight, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients and culinary expertise. Each dish was beautifully presented, and it was evident that a lot of thought went into the preparation.

What truly stood out was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. To top it off, the dessert options were the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal.

Super Rico in downtown Orlando has undoubtedly earned its place as a must-visit restaurant. If you're looking for exceptional cuisine, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch service, this is the place to be. I can't wait to return and explore more...
